My favorite place in Europe that most don't go to is the 9 islands off the coast of Portrugal. Hot spring, amazing green landscapes, some of the prettiest gardens and lookouts and roadstops I've seen. Magical. Anthony Bourdain went there and hated it for the most part. I loved it and keep going back. Cheap to get to from the east coast directly. I used to use it as a stop on the way to mainland Europe. One island was a favorite of Hemmingway while he sailed. Famous bar that all sailors go thru. Fav restaurants on the main island Sao Miguel is A tasca and la colura bar and restaurant and cozido in the sulfur springs of Furnas nearby day trip.

Have a good break from travelling! Considering the time of the year, it's a great time to head south. If you start from Latin America and head south from there, by the time winter comes around in the northern hemisphere, it's late spring/summer in the south to do the breathtaking Patagonia treks! Much easier to travel light in summer too (one pack!) compared to winter in Europe. Can't wait for your next update!

I was hoping you guys would go to the Philippines or Taiwan and hopefully Japan would be opened up by then to regular travellers. Guess I'll just have to catch up on the Thailand videos in the meanwhile. I've been following for a month now and comparing the earlier vids to the later ones I find that they are getting better and I appreciate that I never get "carsick" watching them. Even the most mundane thing seems so intriguing. I'm excited to find out where you'll be next. It's autumn soon so I guess Eastern Europe might be a great place to visit.

Turkey is a great idea, but I'd wait a bit, as currently it's peak season - something like late September to early November would be far less crowded but still warm. Also, you can consider visiting World Nomad Games there, starting Sep 29th - it's not only a fascinating event, but also relatively unknown, so it could be great for growth of your channel (you can check great videos from previous edition by Kara and Nate to get sense what it's like). In the meantime, perhaps Canada (Banff National Park) and/or Alaska, since you are already in the "neighbourhood"? Likely it would be a nice change of climate after Arizona 😄

Have fun with your family! I recently went to Slovenia and really loved it, especially Lake Bled. My suggestion would be Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Greece, and Turkey. I spent some time all over Greece, including many islands, and it was the highlight of my 6-month trip! The place I want to go the most is Tblisi, Georgia and you could hop over there from Turkey very easily.

I think if planning europe , you might consider using a interrail trainpass. Valid for 33 countries in europe and if you take a 3 months pass, i think you would have value for money and to save on accomodation, might consider those night trains. But then probably need more planning. I think a challenge would be to visit all 33 countries in 3 months and make content with it. Till now i dont think someone did that with interrail.

Hi- love your videos - my recommendations of where to go next would be: Turkey Jordon (must do - Petra / Dead Sea) & Egypt, or another option is Nepal and India and Srilanka (if current political situation improves) - temperature wise this may be better to do October/November - Also I think South America would be interesting- do take care if you choose South America as nowhere near as safe to travel there - not saying don’t go but just be safe . Looking forward to seeing more of your adventures.
