Aaron Shanagher threw the ball in the build up to that melee at the very end number 1 and 2 the Ref gave us(Limerick) very little. Time was up anyway.. Clare were very good but Limerick deserved it.. Best of luck the the quarter finals. LUIMNEACH Abú..

Time was up before the last puc out , 4 minutes added on, were up. Ref was bad as fir the lines men the gave at least 3/4line balls the opposite way . Some of them umpires are on the pension they should go to specsavers.

No question about it the referee did not help us, should have been two clear frees at the end. In fairness we had plenty of chances to win it and they just didn't take them, Limerick took their chances we didn't simple as that.

They have only themselves to blame. The referee had a decent game. The obvious mistake was leaving a young lad on Gillane even after he was booked. Lets hope we have learned from the mistakes becaus if we get it right there is an All Ireland in this team. We are on a par with any team to n the country right now but we got to start using the head. Fair play to Limerick on the win and look forward to meeting ye in Croke Park.

It was a blatant free on Tony Kelly. The referee was probably spooked by the pitch invasion just prior to that and didn't fancy extra time. It was wrong though. I'd like to hear Liam Gordan's view on it.

@eirenua ireland the extra time messed up Clare last year, took too much out of them. Anyway, there was only meant to be 4 minutes of injury time, that last puck out was in the 76th minute. There’s two sides to this.

@eirenua ireland if Clare fans genuinely believe they should have won yesterday and didn’t because of a ‘Galway referee’ then their team will win the all Ireland and prove it. I was in the Clare terrace, huge relief more than anything else. Hard to believe, Clare have a total of 6 Munster titles, and of course 4 all Ireland titles. And so does the Limerick captain. He’s the most composed man on any pitch, and the main reason in my opinion why Limerick have kept on winning in tight situations, when it actually mattered. Sort of like the opposite of the knee jerk reaction from the owner of this channel. Haven said that, Hegarty needs to chill, he may be a teacher, but there’s not much learning going on! 😂

The biggest mistake of all was to leave a young inexperienced hurler on the field for 55 minutes against a full forward line of Limerick's class. There was a big improvement I thought when Seadna Morey was introduced resulting in Clare making a comeback that almost succeeded. A terrible mistake by Management in my book.

@@patgreene5573 No I don’t think it was any advantage a ball coming off a post leading to a goal has more of a bearing on the game than making everyone drive to Semple Stadium. People are often involved in crashes on the way home this conferred no particular advantage on Limerick. I’m waiting for the game where Limerick get a bit of luck hopefully the all Ireland Semi. Clare are too reliant on one man!
