I lived and studied Medicine in Krasnodar, Russia for 7 years. This was long time ago back in 1987, LOL. I still speak Russian fluently. I had lots of Ukrainian and of course Russian friends. It's so sad that this war is happening due to a few egoistic politicians. Ukrainians and Russians are brothers and sisters. I lived in Rostov-On-Don for one year and 6 years in Krasnodar. I have witnessed and lived in the Soviet era and in a short while in post-Soviet era. Ordinary Russian people are peace-loving. They love children too. I love borsch, pelmeni, smetana, chebureki, chernyo hleb, ikra with maslo. I have been to the Philippine embassy in Moscow many times. We used to celebrate Independence day there. I miss riding the metro. The metro stations in Moscow are like museums. They are very historical and beautifully decorated.

Philippine embassy is very unpredictable. You can get a tourist visa for your mom, she can stay for 1 year. In the Philippines renewing the visa every 3 months. After 1 yr. She has to leave the Philippines fly cheap to neighboring countries and come back again to the Philippines and she can do this cycle as long as she wants. Philippines is a developing country and living in the provinces it doesn't have the modern facilities that Russia has.. but in the Philippines province it's quite and the nature is beautiful.

Take them to Palawan, Boracay, Manila Bay, some beaches in the Philippines, Bohol Chocolate hills, old Churches, Fort Bonifacio and some places historical places as your husband love history and love preserving historical places, architectures, culture and traditions. I hope someone rich or who may have deep-rooted civic duty in the Province of Pangasinan or wherever this couple decides to live will donate even a little tract of land for Boris to construct a small school for children to study pot making or any technical skills that may help these children in being adept in some form of livelihood activities and be financially able to help their families.
