Leaving Scotland and moving to New Zealand

A video that's well overdue...
We left Scotland in July 2022 and moved to Wellington New Zealand. This is a culmination of videos I had been meaning to make but hadn't quite had enough footage or a story to go with it.

My parents emigrated to Christchurch, New Zealand from Glasgow in 1952. I was the fourth child and 1st born in NZ in 1954. I have been to Scotland once in 2013, and felt very at home there, as I hope you will Iin time feel here.

As someone that was Born on Niue,grew up in NZ, and has been to Scotland to trace some of our roots, we are descended from Vikings that settled on Orkney,and started a brewery called Skull Splitter. I love that you love all 3 places as much as I do, I wish you both the very best for 2024.

Wow, very impressed with the quality. Congratulations on the successful proposal. They say it takes 2 years to settle properly & feel comfortable. It looks like you have that process on fast forward. All the very best for the future. Ps just maybe dont dive around Dunedin or Stewart Island- some seriously large critters who are a little more aggressive than that octopus swim down there

PS my husband learned to speak Scottish Gaelic from Donald McLeod a native speaker from Harris and taught it in Christchurch for many years.
