Always interesting, even for able bodied. Yes I always forget something 😂. The fact you guys work together on this is wonderful. I hope your hubby is okay. Ive had a few moles removed myself. Who knew the sun was so bad in the 80s/90s 😩. Have a wonderful time in Mexico.

Im getting ready to go to my first NVWG after being paralized four years ago. I've not flown since being in a wheelchair let alone ross country. Luckily ill be traveling with my Coach who has taken paralized athletes for 20 years and knows the ropes. He is also an RKT so should any of us have any muscle or nerve issues im sue he can deal with it in the airport or md-flight. Watching this video has helped me think through my packing plan and think about all the things i needs to pay attention to. Like the fact that bags can get lost and not to have all my medications and supplies in one bag. Im on a lot of medications so keeping track of those alone is a nightmare. Let alone everything else required.

Ok, you mentioned nerve pain. Well, my “incident “ happened in 2011 and no one seems to understand why I can actually want to cut off my feet because of nerve pain. Sure, stick a pin in , had a displaced trimalleolar fracture…didn’t feel a thing. Have you ever had a discussion about that or…. If I severely injure something below L2 I don’t feel it, but I become very nauseous and can go into shock. Zofran is a must have. Is this something you or any others experienced?

I’m wondering how you get to the bathroom on the plane? Do they use an aisle chair? I have MS and can’t walk. That’s the most stressful part of flying for me.
@EmpoweredPara10 ай бұрын
Joe carries me to the bathroom and then I cath on the toilet with a catheter and bag all in one.
@tristankowal10 ай бұрын
Some planes have on board aisle chairs and is usually listed when u look up model of plane on that airlines site (or could contact the airline) Works relatively ok just its a small space so couldn’t see anyone fitting to help with transfer (but seated transfers possible and aisle chair fit up to toilet)

That floaty thing is called an aqua jogger. I'm a C4 - C6 quad with no hip or leg...and I feel I float better without that. Airports don't charge for bags with medical equipment...as long as nothing else is in the bag! I hope you are carrying a rape whistle. They have a serious sex slavery issue. I'd dress in layers.
