I _always_ have so many creative or existential thoughts when I watch Jonna's videos, often compelled to respond with my own two cents worth. My takeaway: 1) even with a migraine, Jonna is dedicated, 2) intergenerational friendships are important, 3) even if you love your profession and is done even joyously, a body needs to unwind with "nothing", 4) this channel (among others) proves that people want to come together from literally everywhere; there is not even a hint of obscenity, vulgarity, condescension, etc., 5) the good feeling after absorbing these videos carries forward, as if I am a calm eddy gently flowing at the edge of the raging sea of humanity. Well...

I'm Canadian and every day for the last 80, I weep every few days each time I hear what horror the Russians have done next. I'm so sorry. It's not possible that Ukraine has to be forced to stand up against this evil alone. :( But NATO (including my country) although giving weapons and money, are not brave and they don't do the right thing in stopping Russia immediately. Now it seems like a lot of Western media is pushing the narrative that Ukraine must concede land to Russia to have a ceasefire, but as I know from following Ukrainians on twitter-- that is the farthest thing you want or need! It will not stop Putin. Imagine if France, Poland & England were forced to give up part of their land to Nazi Germany in 1942 because the Allies didn't step in? Anyways, I don't agree at all with NATO. Also, Russia needs to be stopped now-- they are impacting the globe's possibility of stopping the Climate Crisis before it is too late. The 80 billion (very deservedly) given to Ukraine could have been spent on mitigating Climate Crisis, had Russia not behaved like non-humans. This will further impact food resources globally. And because of Russia some countries are forced to spend millions reshaping their source of oil and gas instead of transitioning to green energy. So yes-- these seem to be a few strong points to make the West wake up and realize Russia must be stopped immediately, whatever it takes. I send my love and my prayers for your safety, and for NATO to do the right thing very soon. x

I just came back from a 5 day weekend in the mountains on my grandfather's house. I took no cellphone or radio and had the TV turned off most of the time. I hiked everyday with my brother in the mountains and it was an absolute bliss. Because I live in the city, the quiet and the peacefulness where something I had been missing ever since the pandemic started. It was like living with noise setting of 100 and then turning it all the way down to 0 zero... I feel more relaxed mentally than I ever did in these two years. After 4 days of hikes I rested my tired feet on a freezing cold water spring and after it was like I was walking on clouds... I wish I could live there and I cannot wait to go back.

@@belikethesquirrel6714 Ohh really? I am so sorry to hear you have these horrible diseases :( I would love to hear more about your experience with autoimmune disease and what you have noticed about me? It feels a bit scary to write this but I actually saw a neurologist back in October because Ive had so many weird things going on for the past 3 years. It comes and goes. Get this extreme tiredness/exhaustion out of nowhere that lasts for about a week, like 3 times a year. Now and then I suddenly get speech impediment for like 1-10 minutes (when I talk, the wrong words come out and I cannot even say a sentence right). And I loose vision on half side of the visionfield. Feeling wierd tingles all over my body. But yeah it comes and goes. Sometimes I feel nothing at all. The neurologist said it was migraine. I didn't really felt heard by him. I traveled so far to get an appointment and he put "migraine" as diagnos after 5 minutes haha. He didnt even ask any questions or took any test or anything. But I also got really relieved that he said it was migraine and I decided to believe that he knew what he was doing. I understand that migraine can cause so many strange symptoms that feels very scary. But I still get worried sometimes. Been googling like hell and of course it comes up about all these scary and horrible autoimmune disease. So I try not to think about it too much and just focus on my health and feeling good. But when I saw your comment I just got so curious. Never talked to anyone before that understands any of this or have any experience. So anything you would like to share of your own experiences would be so appreciated 🙏❤️ Much love to you! ❤️

@@jonnajinton I am so sorry to hear your experience and unfortunately that sounds about right. Just being pushed away and shushed. I have had so many tests, some are proof, many not. Like the test you mention where they put the probes in the muscle (EMG), mine was perfectly normal when it was done. Yet at this juncture I use a cane and some days cannot walk at all. Bloodwork shows that I have lupus and Sjogren's. They have determined I also have fibromyalgia and Chronic fatigue syndrome, Once they determined these diagnosis though everything is blamed on those, just a catch-all. (while I also have endometriosis and interstitial cystitis, these too are ignored at this point). I keep up with your videos and channels for a couple of years now (you are light in my dark hallway) and I notice your hands (raynaud's syndrome), sensitivity to light (photophobia) and bouts of chronic tiredness/feeling unwell. I have lived in extreme cold environments and understand that those come with the territory, but when it strikes you out of the blue when you are well accustomed to the temp and cold... There have been other aspects that makes my gut go, "oh no, I think she has autoimmune issues) through older videos too. I certainly hope not for you but I also do not want you to have to feel dismissed either. The dismissal has been the biggest barrier for me and my health. Then money. I cannot afford healthcare at this point but even if I could it has not been care. Mine has progressed to severe cognitive involvement, I have seizures and these horrible events where I cannot form words, walk, remember, but a doctor still told me they were migraines. Unfortunately my experience with the medical system ( american) is gaslighting, I must be incorrect or even hysterical and could not possible be going through what millions of others also experience (and often get dismissed and disregarded). I am sorry your experience has started that way. Sure, you could have a migraine sometimes but that is not the reasoning behind it all. You are a healthy person, physically, emotionally, etc, when you feel you are not, YOU are correct. I would love to share with you on my experience. Love and Light to you Friend
