Hi Jonna! Bleach can help get rid of the mice & rat urine from the wood in your van, try it & hopefully it may work or you may have to replace the wood.. all the hard work you & your friend did on your lovely van. I don't want to make you fear but want you to be aware that mice & rat feces is dangerous & carry Hantavirus. You did well using a mask & gloves. For future protection so they can't eat your wires & make a nest you can put traps that won't kill them but trap them & then you can release them far from your home so they cant return. I want to thank you for the absolutely beautiful work you do & share with us! Your videos bring me peace. You are a beautiful soul Jonna! 😘

there is no person on the internet that makes me feel more at peace than you do. to say i love everything you do would be a understatement. Maybe a 15 hour long video is just what the world needs but i know how much work that takes so i get why you can't put all of them in. keep being yourself Jonna! You have proven to me many times over now that, although sometimes they are hard to find, there are still good people left in this world and that knowledge is what keeps me going. Thank you :)

18:36 _"It's a mess... But you know sometimes life is just like that. I think the important thing is to learn to find the peace within yourself in those times. If you look for perfection and silence outside of you, you might never really find it. Because there is always gonna be stuff happening. There are always going to be things you have to do or fix or work on. There is always gonna be movement around you, so the peace has to come from within. But it's easier said than done. _*_But I'm trying._*_ "_ This really hit home for me. I've been burned out for several years and I cannot find silence or peace where I live.. I even moved in that time, but still no luck with neighbours and an incredibly noisy apartment building. I have autism (and probably HSP) and get overwhelmed very easily - especially these last few years. I sometimes get extremely anxious and panicky and think that things will never get better, that I'll never be able to work again. But I must believe that things will turn out alright.... In the meantime though these are words that I think I need to live by. To try to find peace inside myself. Tack så mycket 💚

I was too embarrassed to make a recording of myself to send to you, Jonna, but if I could say something to 4 million people it would simply be “Call someone you love, and tell them you love them.” You don’t always know what the people you love are going through and everyone has bad days, so the small act of reminding someone they are loved could make all the difference to them. Think of all the things they might be able to accomplish after hearing something like that, knowing someone is there for them. We could get so much more done in this world with love instead of hate. Love you, Jonna! I am sending good vibes out to everyone!! 💓

Dear Catherine You are not alone ! Jonna is a lovely "Earth" fairy who has attracted a huge community of sensitive souls... When you feel lonely, just connect to the energy of your heart, to the love inside : it can reach and communicate to thousands of people, even if you don't know them physically. And as for death : death is an "illusion"; I've been reading and watching hundreds of testimonies of "near death experiences": our loved ones are still "alive", somewhere, and we'll get united to them again someday. This world is full of love, care and beauty! It's just that we, human beings, are not very "evolved" yet, and we've had a tendency to focus on the negative feelings and energies, feeding the illusion of fear, sorrow and hatred all along. Now is a global "awakening" time, time to change for mankind.,🙏💗 Love from Paris, France!!

I look forward to your vlog, and I will continue to support when I can. On the mice situation, they pee constantly(I had them in my attic) and I had a guy come out to get rid of them, and he did it with traps with peanut butter on them. He called them Norwegian Wood Rats. Yikes! They were huge!! At any rate, I hope your mice/rats find another home. My cat gets rid of them now. Keep going...and yes, I have many half done projects, currently working on a She-shed in the Forest above my house, while working full-time as a Nurse at our local hospital. My mechanic has found mice who have built nests next to the engine block in cars. You’re not wrong to worry about them gnawing the wires, @Jonna Jinton. I would have a mechanic check the underside of your van (put it on the stack), and also the firewall between the engine and the driver’s cabin, to make sure there are no holes. Those should be plugged/repaired immediately, if there are any. Then use the repellents that others have mentioned here.

We live in rural Montana. The mice love our vehicles. While I do not like killing them, the car and truck are off limits. We place traps on the front and back of all the tires. That is the easiest way for them to enter. Now and then, we leave the hood open in case it is beginning to feel too cozy in there. They also adore the air filter area. I think the word (in mouse language) about the traps gets out and after a while they stop trying to get in until the weather brings a new season. 🐭❤️

🙋🏻♀️ Full-time Vanlifer of 5.5years here! Definitely had mice problems in one of our vans once. First way to fix it is to take literally everything out of the van and do a thorough hole check. Any hole that is bigger than 6mm.. yes. 6mm. they can fit through easily! make sure these holes are blocked if they lead to food storage or electricals/water lines. You need ventilation in your van so don't plug everything, but plug everything that would be difficult to block with blankets/towels during storage of the van over winter. Silicone (tek-7) works great 👌 Second, don't leave any food in the van during winter storage or any longterm storage, and it's best to wipe down all shelves to be sure there aren't any crumbs left. Third, if you have access to electrical sockets during long term storage you can get those plugs that make a sound to repell mice work great! buy ya, biggest thing is to know where every hole is into your van. I'd say plug most with silicone (if they're small enough to... hopefully you won't need to weld anything), make sure there is no way for them to get into food storage or electricals/waterlines. If you have any questions you can DM on Instagram @sarah.sojourns 🥰 good luck!

About mice in the vehicle…it is very common where I live. They usually access the vehicle via air vents. You can either ask your mechanic about how to seal it off, or keep simple mouse traps in your vehicle and check them often. We usually use peanut butter for bait. Good luck!

for next time: you need to train tomato plants first before they start living outside! so about 7-10 days before they are being replanted outside, they need to be taken outside every day for a couple hours (increase the time by the day) so they get used to outdoor conditions. i know a greenhouse is not technically 'outdoor' but they still benefit from this training and it makes them more resilient. I also recommend for next time to rather grow bush varieties! they carry plenty of fruit but require no staking and are even more resilient and sturdy than the 'growing' (indeterminate) ones! :)

When I visited Sweden Years ago, I also visited Sundborn and the Carl Larson House. We had a guided Tour trough the House and learned something about the famous red colour used to paint the Houses too. Like everything else in Sweden, I also love this traditional way to conservate the wood. And of course it looks great too. I wish I was born in Sweden. I never again was so relaxed and happy and felt so free than during my visits in your beautiful country. I visited many National Parks, Tiveden, Skuleskogen, Muddus, Fulufjället. The Northernmost City I visited was Örnsköldsvik. So there is much more left to explore. I visited Sweden in 1996/ 1997 and 2004. In 2004 my Doughter was 5 and we had a lot fun and a good time. All of our visits were Camping holidays. In July I will be 54 Years old and lying in a tent makes me feel stiff like a board the next morning. But I necessarily have to go North again. My very best Friend since the days of kindergarten died 3 months ago. Last year same time he was absolut healthy. We wanted to go onto a great Bicycle Tour trough Germany this Summer. But in October last year he went ill and never came home from hospital. Its harder for me than the dead of my own mother. I can't explain it. But it told me again that our time on this Planet is very limited and you never know which Sunrise will be your last. So I plan to visit Sweden again. I think I will try a small Camper for this. And then I will go farther to the North. I would like to see the North Cape once. And the Unden Lake again. And the Klarälven Valley where many Elks crossed my way during a hiking tour. I hope it works.

@@MeloyKimberly Thank you so much for your encouraging words. I appreciate it. All I can say to everybody who is still young is: Live your life. Have as much memorable moments as possible. They will last forever. I'm not very old, only 54. But that means, most of my lifetime is behind me. I remember the birth of my daughter in 1999 like yesterday. Now she is studiying and becomes a teacher of history and nutritional science. I think like a 30 Years old, but my body reminds me every day being 54. The last 25 Years went by as if in flight. My parents died during this time and many more People I knew. So once again my advice: Live the moment. Do things that makes you happy. Work, but don't let work dictate your life. Thats all. My best wishes to everybody.

@@sigrid889 I don't wanted to start an avalanche with my Story. But sometimes it helps a litte bit to share those incidents in life. But I also wanted to express how much I like Sweden. The Landscape from South to North is fantastic. We also have great forests und Lakes and Mountains in Germany. But there is something different. I had a different feeling being in Sweden. It's difficult to explain. The traffic was much less stressing, sometimes nearly empty roads. Everything was more spacious. We have 83 Mill. People in Germany. That makes 232 per Squarekilometer. In Sweden the Population is about 10,6 Million. That makes approx. 25 per Squarekilometer. That is ten times less than in Germany. And the most People live in the South of Sweden. So in the North you have an incredible free feeling. I have a great wish to all tourists in Sweden, because there were some bad excesses in the Swedish Nature in the last years. Please respect the nature and the property ownership. Don' t walk over someone else's property, especially when there is a "private" sign. Be a quiet visitor, enjoy the silence, don't disturb it with "noise pollution". There is so much bad noise in this world. We all long for some quietness, don"t we? I for myself do. There are fewer and fewer quiet places on this planet. Perhaps they will be all lost sometimes, if we're not careful. The respect for the country and its nice People (like Jonna and Johan 😉) dictates a considerate behavior. Have a good Night and a nice Weekend. Bye

When transplanting tomatoes, take off the bottom leaves and bury most of the stem and roots will grow from the stem and make a sturdier plant. If they are too big to bury the stem straight down, just lay the stem sideways and cover it with a couple of inches of soil.

I grew up with many horses, and on windy days the horses were always more excitable and enjoyed running around together really fast, jumping and playing. If we would go for a ride with them, or if we had work to do and needed to ride, we always knew to be prepared for.....well anything really, so yes, I totally understand and believe that the wind has a really primal effect on animals. We are more aware of this feeling, this experience especially when we live or spend a lot of time living in, or close to nature. For me, an incredibly intense experience is being near or in the sea on a windy day. Combining the magic of swimming in the sea with the emotional reactions to a windy day is sometimes too exhilarating - but always in a good way.
