Leaving the North Island, east via Te Urewera National Park. Gravel, roaming stock and rain.

Heading South Leaving the North Island to return to Nelson for good. But not before a good roady east via the Te Urewera National Park.
We load up the Harleys and head for the bush, mountains and isolation of a hidden and unique part of New Zealand.
I'm heading for the South Island ferry so come back for part two where I visit Castle Point on the Waiarapa coast. Like and subscribe.

We found that road impossible to pass even in a ute,last time we went through, there were shit loads of potholes ,terrible road! You guys rock doing it on harleys 👍👍👍

Thank you for this video as that rd is on my list done east coast and hawkes bay this summer but didnt know conditions of that rd for a car.

Yes I didn't really know what we were riding into but enjoyed the road even in the rain. Take plenty of food just in case.
