wtf WHAT?! Ive been jamming this banger for like 2 years now and I just now discovered this?! I guess I never quite paid attention to the skill this dude has cuz Starset has always just immersed me in the aesthetic and the sonic story telling but hot damn this guy is INCREDIBLE!

I want to give a worthwhile compliment and point out specific things here, but I am a guitarist/bassist, so the best I can do is this: Been watching your vids for a decent while now and this was just amazing! *ahem* ... Your hands were everywhere! And the coordination! And the alternate outro too! I'm in awe! Keep on making fantastic music!

2:20 - 2:47 that was one of my favorite breakdown from this band, Starset is a very underated band imo

Wow.....I didn't realize how much was involved in being a drummer. All 4 of your limbs are moving.....he's incredible and I'm in awe! I have more respect for musicians the more I watch video's like this.
@Dozeball2 жыл бұрын
Starset have the same ethos as Frank Zappa did back in his day: Each song is an orchestral arrangement, with different timings, tuning, different key, everything and anything that can be fit into a 5 or so minute song, has to be in it...That way, they don't get any half-arsed attempts or bare minimum - everyone has to give it their all, every time....Look at Adam's face at 2:43, he's as sweaty as someone who's done an hour in the gym, and that's just 2 minutes, almost 3!

I’ve been a drummer (semi-professionally) for 6 years and he’s impressive to me. Watch the video 3 times and you’ll see him do stuff in the third that you missed the first 2 times. This is not just him playing this song, this is a visual performance.

We gotta keep the heartbeat going. It's what we do. I'm a fellow drummer. I'm at Travis Barker level, not his godliness lol Adam is a beast.

My friend caught a stick you threw out at the concert we attended in glens falls. Before the concert i wasnt the biggest starset fan i liked a few songs but holy shit. The friend gifted the stick to me as an amateur drummer myself and you sir, have quickly become my favorite drummer. Pure skill and you make it look flashy while playing too. I even said to myself during the concert "he looks like hes having a hell of a time up there"

And yeah... caught the "final" demo at the Pageant two months ago. GD..... the special bits at the front of the stage were a nice touch. Heres hoping you all land a bigger venue next time. So far every show... slightly bigger slightly better. Thats good. I just want you to keep coming back to the Lou. Breaking Benjamin can attest to how much we love music here.

I watched it Adam. My brother found it after we left yesterday. Im subbed on my other profile but not this one so I missed the upload. My favorite part of the song still has to be the breakdown. But the stick flipping starting at 2:22.. How? I wouldve thrown the stick doing 2 in a row, let alone multiple times almost in succession! And the outro was a very nice touch. It was good seeing you all again. I hope to do so again very soon.

Lyrics for whoever cares Beautiful, new frontier High above the rain in the atmosphere What wonders I have discovered My soul is everclear Never felt the way I do with you here I hope there's never another So sing tonight We're everbright Burning through space, I see your face I could beat Kryptonite We're so alive Forever high Hold on my dear, there'll be no fear Leaving this world behind (This world behind) Far away, above the Earth We'll soar through the curvature Away from all our dark matters And escape the barriers That we've manufactured Going into the hereafter And I'll wait if you take forever long I'll listen for your song So sing tonight We're everbright Burning through space, I see your face I could beat Kryptonite We're so alive Forever high Hold on my dear, there'll be no fear Leaving this world behind So sing tonight We're everbright Burning through stains, I see your face I could beat Kryptonite We're so alive Forever high Hold on my dear, there'll be no fear Leaving this world behind (This world behind) Leaving this world behind (Leaving this world behind)
