Once we arrived in Pokhara, we needed to wash some clothes. So, we headed to a laundromat nearby and met the owner named Krishna. He mentioned to us that he owns a hotel in a village near Pokhara and that he could take us for a walk around the village if we stayed there.
So, a few days later, we met up with Krishna and hopped onto a local bus to head up into the mountains of Pokhara. Meeting the locals on the bus was an adventure on its own, but once we reached Krishna's home, we were in awe of the amazing views we had. We woke up early every morning, and we were treated to the most breathtaking views of the Annapurna mountain range right from our bedroom window!

This was so beautiful. Loved the views from the bus ride and the homestay. ❤😍👌✨ Leanne you aren't unfit exactly. But the years or months of travelling that you have been doing, while fun, also takes a toll on our bodies as we get exposed to multiple toxins and pollutants in the air, water, food, clothing, furnitures, vehicles used when travelling, etc. - from any place we travel to or visit or even have resided normally outside of travelling. I have the same health issues, when climbing moderately steep places like this- and it's because since childhood days we all have been already exposed to multiple pesticides and chemicals from our food, water, air, normal life choices - all of which starts impacting our health when we do some outside the norm strenous activities ( because some of the pollutants and toxins can stay stuck in our body for many years- and can suddenly impact our health one day- from years of our body trying to fight the toxins and pollutants). . I used to workout for 1-2 hours in a US gym daily for many years, and even when working out and being relatively fit, when climbing steep places even in US ( where pollution is less than India or Nepal - the exposures to past toxins and pollutants and current ones) all ended up eventually in causing lung, cardiac functional health issues for me too- leading to feeling exhausted and breathless or having erratic or shallow breathing, like symptoms. ( And more worse health conditions too over time). Enjoy your Nepal exploration, and please start being more mindful and aeare of the health consequences from the different levels or kinds of pollution exposure from food, water, clothes, air, hospitality and travel industry chemical use, etc. 🤗🙏💗

The best thing to do from Pokhara is to take a bus to Bisisahar and start walking the Annapurna Circuit you don't need a guide or a porter just don't forget to take Diamox for altitude sickness..
