We have made it to Nepal, a place that we have always wanted to go to. As we have landed in Kathmandu, this is the first city that we wanted explore.
The Thamel area is a popular area in Kathmandu with many tourists flocking here before they begin a hike or a trek in the Himalayan mountains. This area is where our journey in Kathmandu began as we headed to Durbar Square to see and explore some of the history that the Kathmandu Valley has to offer.
One thing that was a must on our list when exploring Kathmandu, was to try some Momo, a very popular dish here in Nepal. So we had to give this a try!

Kathmandu Valley has three cities ,Kathmandu, Bhaktapur & Lalitpur with many historical places and monuments.But if you really want to enjoy with nature you must visit Pokhara city which is very beautiful touristic place with many adventure activities where you can go by plane or bus also

Glad to see the temples are being rebuilt after the earthquake. I was happy to see the mo mo and dumblings are similar. The streets are narrow and maintain its original form. Thank you for sharing your experience in Kathmandu as I have never visited Nepal.🙏

Nepalese momo sauce is great but the ingredients aren’t that of great quality esp meat. So I prefer authentic Tibetan momo that comes with soup (bone broth)

its not authentic version of laphing ,what they serve in Nepal nowadays.Previously it was only tibetans making and selling laphing but as it gained popularity even locals started trading this culinary bombshell garnishing it with raw instant noodles and all sort of others abomination. You can go to Bouddha area to try the authentic laphing.
