Honestly speaking, I truly understand why people are leaving KZbin but as for me I have been on KZbin for 10+ years. KZbin was more of fun to me. I started taking my KZbin seriously a few years ago. I understand that people feel that it’s not worth it because they put so much effort to create but no one is watching but I’ll say this: People’s attention span especially on this KZbin ehn is short considering so much that is being offered on the side of the screen. KZbin isn’t also pushing certain content and it’s frustrating but one should not give up. Even me, I don’t get monetized. I’m close but sometimes it feels so far away considering 4,000 Watch hours. Surely every will work out for all of us. Thank you for sharing.

*The problem with your channel isn't just shorts seeing that your shorts are somewhat related to your long form videos. The issue is with the algorithm and not you. Your kind of videos isn't something that brings views to just anybody without a push from the algorithm or another bigger channel. Let this platform serve as your documentation, remove your eyes from the watch hours, twerk your titles a little while maintaining the brand you are building and you'd be surprised that views will come sooner with the monetization you seek.*

Make your Shorts relevant to your long form video, then link the long form video to the Short. That helps to bring in subscribers that are at least interested in your long form content.

Also the 4k watch hour requirement is for 365 days. If your watch hours are going down by the month sounds like you’re looking at it by month and not for 365 days. Good luck! 💙

​@@iamolori The 4k watch hour is truly by 365days but it starts going down daily after 1year. This means that at day 1 out of 365days goes off to accommodate day 366, views accumulated for day 2 goes off to accommodate day 367 views and so it goes. The best is getting your watch hour within one year.
