OMG Tarantula at 17:17 !!!! Great video, glad to see you turning lemons into lemonade and having fun and enjoying Ecuador. What a beautiful country. Regarding the driveshaft, make sure that they didn't accidentally knock off the counterweights on the driveshaft. Look for signs of missing weights or look at old video and compare them. If weights are ok, tell them to turn driveshaft 180 degrees at each u-joint and maybe find right combination to stabilize vibration. Also make sure carrier bearing (the bearing that secures the shaft to the truck) is secured correctly. Finally, check u-joints to make sure they weren't damaged upon installation. I saw them pounding on them with a hammer. Normally, they should be pressed on with a hydraulic press. Good luck and I hope lucky leaw feels better soon.

The tarantula is a common spider in Ecuador and is not dangerous, unless you sit or step on it. Scorpions are very dangerous in South America and are found everywhere. Be afraid of them, not tarantulas.

I"m still saying they put the drive shaft in backwards, it happened to me, once they turned it around the vibrations quit.

Man I will agree with you OR they did not align the shaft with the transmission splines or yokes as it was before and/or the driveshafts can even be 90/180 degrees off from each other shaft section. There was no problem before as we know...so it is simply installed wrong, whether backwards, or rotated incorrectly to each piece, or the U joint cups are not seated in their grooves properly, OR, a balance weight got knocked off (I doubt this option). In other words, the balancing may now be out of sync between each shaft section. Some have mentioned the U Joints being installed backwards...unlikely the case. But as you said, maybe entire shaft sections are in backwards.

Love your videos, and now I believe that Sara may be the coolest motorcycle chick on the planet. And I have changed many universal joints and it is possible to bend the yoke while doing it, that will make it run out of true. That will cause vibration and it will have to be professionally repaired. They should take responsibility for that.

You two have become my FAVOURITE people on KZbin!! Your content is so well done and every video is so enjoyable to follow. I am also slowly watching your videos from the beginning of your journey and because of you I now what to see Alaska. I also feel bad you had to spend so much time in grande prairie,alberta haha. I grew up on a farm in the area and I know it certainly is not the nicest city to spend time in. the oil drilling up there has really changed the countryside. It was a lot more beautiful in the past. To bad I wasn’t following you back then as I would have sent you to park at my mom’s to work on your camper or at least had her cook some meals for you. But if you are ever in Calgary, Alberta, where we are now you have a place to stay if you want. I would LOVE to see a Italy series. My husband and I plan to tour Italy once he retires in a couple years so would love to see what you would show us. My next door neighbour was Italian, who immigrated from northern Italy so through her I developed a love for a country I have never seen. So looking forward to our adventure there someday. Ok that was a long message from a stranger who feels like she really knows you. 😉 so keep being your beautiful self’s and safe journey’s.
