I agree with you. And I think it's great that some folks can afford all this razzmataz. Think about the decoraters, caterers and people needed to grow, make, transport, prepare, clean up, serve, the lighting technician, the musicians everything and all. They will be paid a wage for their services. So hopefully it's a good wage, but nevertheless, thanks to lavish weddings as this one, perhaps more than 100 people bring some money home. So it's win-win.

I agree to a certain with this statement. For millionaires and billionaires they have a ton to splurge, while still donating for charity. I feel that it is unfair to judge them this way. I mean I've seen a ton of middle class people splurging on their wedding to a maximum point they could afford. Weddings are one of the most important events of one's own life I don't find that it's a waste as long as they afford it. Charity comes from the heart not expectation. Just becoz we are rich or poor doesn't exempt us from the charities that we can do. Some people expect a lot of charity from rich people, while they exempt themselves.

Couture gowns typically have a tightly gathered dust ruffle attached to the bottom edge and the train mostly loo ays onbgg that. I am sure these gowns are carefully heirloomed at the cleaners and probably end up being single use as mody gowns do. Regular gowns yes, tbe hem and underside if the train can get filthy
