He says and does many things Dan agrees with, but they’re scared of social backlash, imo. Also, according to Jordan Love Rodgers was a great mentor and he still hears from him after games. Idk why Dan assumes he and Love didn’t get along simply because he and the Packers FO didn’t get along.

Rodgers had a procedure that has only been around for 10 years, thus the quicker recovery time before walking around. But the tendon still takes time to heal and there was no chance he was ever going to play this year.

ARodge doesn’t turn down media, and big big hoping when he retires he chills out and becomes more like the other vet yall have on who sells shroom bars and is super positive. One of the most exciting football players ever having the same end of career struggles as just about everyone else in his position. If he wasn’t so defensive/contrarian about science and embracing of the celebrity that’s brought him he’d just be an old fashioned one of the best candidates. Hope he gets there, and I’m saying that as a Bears fan. Jeremy is right about him lying, it’s crazy how when people like a liar they will defend them harder than the liar will themselves. People got a lot of shit inside, and they’re allowed and encouraged to get it out somewhere appropriate and do better 💩

Dan’s argument for coaches needing to be admin assistants is odd. The most successful may be better at relating with players, but they are still bosses and when players have more control, they don’t tend to reach their max. PSG is a perfect example, with many top managers wining the league almost by default in some seasons, but not the big ears which is the clubs true goal. Pep is the great example of the authoritarian figure who can also connect and be successful. Maybe US sports it is actually going out of vogue, but I’m not sure

I think Anthony Edwards should not have walked that back. The reality is he’s young, still has a lot of room to grow, and clearly made a mistake by getting a girl pregnant who he didn’t want that to happen to. If the man wants the woman to get an abortion, he has that right to desire that. You don’t have to agree with the act of abortions. But he does in fact have the right to have that opinion on his own matter.

Bill Belichick is 71 years old and hasn’t been to the playoffs without Tom Brady. He last won a playoff game in 2018. These “disaster scenarios” that Stu is hypothesizing are all with a team losing in the playoffs and firing their coach who, in most cases, is 20+ yrs younger and has indisputably done a better job THIS season than Bill. Why would any of these teams hire Bill? He’s proven his offensive acumen isn’t there (anymore). His roster building isn’t there. No playoff team would want him. Tom Brady has been more successful more recently. There wasn’t a line of teams to sign him this yr or trade for him last yr.
@ArmsGolden
@ArmsGolden 8 ай бұрын
I agree. I think a bunch of teams will kick the tires in hiring Belichick but I don’t think it’s as easy or obvious decision. I wonder if the reason why the Pats offenses have sucked without Brady is because of Belichick’s loyalty to mediocre coaches who have not been able to develop talent and create innovative schemes. If that is the case I don’t see how a change of scenery would improve that. All that being said, I wouldn’t be mad if he was the next coach of the Jets

Is Mike McDaniel actually being relatable to his players by using the term "bro"??
