In the book liège gunmakers you see the history of all belgium gunmakers and all the greatest belgium guns ever made. Forgeron is another great and beautyfull gun from liège.

I have a Lebeau-Courally Live pigeon gun from 1906 - with two sets of barrels (one set is heavily pitted unfortunately) It is a gun that is truly on par with some of the best british guns, quality wise. The style is a bit different and probably not to everybodys taste though. They had a great following among the russian nobility who did not want to put money in english pockets at that time

Lovely vid JC! I have a 1967 SxS Spanish and that is why there is a serious price differential lololololol, but I love it! It's an oldie not a goldie lol but it's the fun of having a SxS opposed to my 725 and MK38. That Belgian is gorgeous and hope it does well in November. Thanks again really informative. Good egg! I was going to add an emoji but being 58 I don't know what most of them mean...

I have a belguim 16 Bore side by side that was my dads i like it and use it most of the time I also have a 16 Bore side by side hammer gun, I love the 16 Bore.

I think the Czar also ordered them for his daughters. Don't know about his son. Any recoil was probably inadvisable. Notice what seems to be perfect wood-to-metal fit, unlike most of what we see today. Shame about the stock additions.
