I shot maybe 10 rounds of skeet with this gun and loved every second. But at the time I didn't have 3ks to buy one. It worked flawlessly, and I loved the ink-balls. It would boil clays.

I mean, last I checked when America showed up with American guns and two world wars. We pretty much won it for you last I checked American gun tooling a little bit better than British gun tooling. I mean, look at all the good old boys during the revolutionary war. A lot of that stuff was hand built by them boys and y’all had them fancy Lee enfields and still got clapped. I’ve seen what you’ve had. I’ve trained with British soldiers I’m not surprised that their stuff jams and does not really work.

Come over to this side of the pond. I'll take you to the biggest gun store on the east coast of America. You'd have a great time I'm sure. You'd see guns available that would earn you years in prison on your side of the Atlantic.

Iv been a gun nut all of my life but freedom means more or the same Jonny when you go shooting clays pigions or pheasants arnt you worried about you being arrested like the police have done to inercent hunters took there guns why arnt you worried this is much more important than the shooting the police have helicopter to find inercent piegion shooters you never talk about this stuff its not freedom why do you put up with it can't the police leave people alone we talked about this in the 70tys I would be very upset because iv never done anything wrong

In mid-December 1955 I was gifted a Stevens Model 39a .410 shotgun for my birthday. It was my first personal firearm. I took a lot of game using 3" shells from that gun and still have it to this day.

I have been told by numerous shooters that the people at CSMC are a bunch of snobs who run off more buyers than they sell and I'm talking about shooters who already have high end guns like Kreigoff's,Beretta's, Blazer's, Perrazzi's,Guerini's etc. and plenty of money to spend on CSMC guns.

Does Hull not export their shells to the States? I haven't seen them anywhere. They look great.

if you mix oil and grease be careful to ensure the both are chemical compatible...or just by a thinner grease.

Back looks fucking sick. Blade too, really nice. Would have tried to keep the color and texture of the wooden handle more in line with the 'oldish' look of when it was still on the gun. Darker and polished. As if the gun transformed into the knife.

I don't hunt pheasant here in the states, but in my younger years I did hunt ducks and dove. I always used a 12 gauge semi-auto for hunting, trap and skeet and considered myself to be a good wingshot. One day a friend came by and invited me to go dove hunting that afternoon, but my shotgun was at the gunsmith's shop getting a new extractor claw put in. My friend said no worries, he had an old goose gun he'd loan me. I said let's go! This gun was a single barrel break over, with a 36 inch barrel and a full choke! Not the most ideal gun for dove. I was never so humbled as I was that afternoon. The few birds that I did manage to scratch down were at close range and were pretty mangled up. One thing I did find out and was quite an eye opener for me. I was always rushing to get off that first shot and I'd miss and then slow down taking good aim for the second shot, which I kept forgetting that I didn't have with that gun. Thinking back I realized that I was making most of my hits on the second and third shot with my semi-auto. After that day I always tried to make the first shot count, as if I was still shooting that old single shot goose gun and my hit ratio went up considerably. You get your education where you find it, but first you have to recognize it when you see it!

For those of us in America, the ISSF (International Shooting Sports Foundation) uses 12 gauge, 7/8 ounce loads of whatever shot you desire (mostly 7.5 to 9). Of course, variations exist.

How refreshing to see & hear sbout your personal rifle. Driven game is not a thing in America, so straight pulls are uncommon. 30-06 is still king, regardless of what the media pushes. And, long-range shooting is what the computer-gamers think will make them all "snipers". I respect your choice!

I have the Gentleman version in cal. 20, and have had it since 2019 - I am over the moon about it! As much as I have sold my old English s/s in cal. 12. I use it primarily for roughshooting with my spaniels, but have used it in some occasions for high birds as well. It is definitely my go2gun when going hunting and shooting, and I simply can't see that changing any time soon. Really happy about it!

Thank you for your informative videos! Because of you, I discovered the “Browning B525 Composite” and I’m very interested in this shotgun. However, I’m not very tall and need a stock length of about 355 to 360 mm. Do you think it’s possible to shorten the stock of the Browning B525 to that length without encountering issues with the adjustable cheek piece or other parts? Your opinion on this would be very helpful! Best regards from Germany

Speed does kill; however, I've been reading articles about super fast pheasant loads (1500+ fps) and how those crazy speeds deform shot and hurt patterns tremendously. Thoughts?

3" Fiochi #8 shot. out of a recently inherited old Savage .410 pump and I had a blast this trap league. My best was 21 this season, don't shoot other than this spring league for fun. You receive accolades for shooting the .410 and breaking clays. I figure you're either on or you ain't the gage matters little. But I love this little pump!

I love the lines of the gun and the case hardening. I'm a neanderthal so the heft doesn't bother me that much. Great video enjoyed it ,good hunting! Rick of Orange
