LeBron James' first game against the Cleveland Cavaliers, one of the scariest games in NBA history. The crowd was booing him loudly the ENTIRE game.

Yeah it was interesting. Cavs fan here. I feel I’m reasonable person. I myself rooted hard against him. That Dallas series changed my mind a bit. I loved the mavs winning. But he seemed more human. He was trying to be a villain which he is not. When he came back the feelings against him were long gone before. I try not to be a hypocrite. But us cavs fans remember the news. People hanging out around his house. Dancing in the streets it was a circus. Than he won one for Ohio. I definitely had no ill feelings when he went to Hollywood. He deserved it. Not sure how u would handle it mamba. But I’d say I’m a good example of being honest and aware

@Umb O that's because the cavs before lebron leave didn't have players like kukoc,rodman,steve kerr,ron harper,scottie pippen, and a legendary coach phil jackson. U oldheads need to accept the fact that lebron face tougher teams than MJ's, MJ maybe is better but bruh, imagine facing a warriors superteam (2 mvps, a 2-way guard who can erupt 60 anytime and a dpoy with a coach that has been with phil jackson and coach pop), maybe your argument is "2011 mAvS dEstRoyEd hIm" I mean yea he did choked in that series, but that mavs team ain't joke 😂 that team won against defending champs lakers and okc big 3

When I look back at this game, it's so funny how the crowd was booing LeBron every time he got the possession and he was literally answering their boos with buckets. The crowd was so emotional, that they couldn't realize that they were only adding fuel to Lebron's fire. One thing I've noticed about LeBron in his 18 years of being in the NBA, is that he's shown time and time again that he's been able to withstand so much hate and opposition from people. The man's inner resilience is his biggest weapon. Him having physical gifts is just an icing on the cake.

no fr like people have to realize that these players aren’t JUST playing to appease you or make you happy. these players have actual CAREERS and are always going to do A. what makes them happy and B. what’s better for their CAREERS. KD is a “snake” because he put himself in the BEST POSSIBLE POSITION TO WIN? right but if he stayed on the thunder (where his career was going nowhere) he wouldn’t have had the championships or finals mvps he has 🙄 all we would do is sit here n talk about what a disappointing career he had, but hey you wouldn’t really care about any of that as long as he, some guy you don’t know, “stayed loyal”. it’s one of the (if not the MOST) toxic aspect of having a parasocial relationship in which people know OF you and follow your LIFE so heavily because you’re in the public eye so much, to the point where they feel they should have some influence on your life.

I've lived in Cleveland all my life, the problem here is like someone said above, all the owners and GM's 90% of the time are just INCAPABLE of making smart decisions, it's absolutely mind boggling. It's as if they gather and go "okay, what is the WORST decisions we can make? Do it"
@ChiSportsNut18
@ChiSportsNut18 Жыл бұрын
People were upset because of the WAY he left. If he didn't hype it up with "The Decision" they wouldn't have been as upset. To give LeBron some credit though, he did say that if he could've done it again he would've done it differently. And he did later give them a championship. He will still easily go down as the best sports player Cleveland has ever had.

Some people have literally no morals. Hate is real with it comes to this man. It's his choice, his career. It's liking staying in a toxic relationship. Why would you stay if you're not happy with HOW the why THEY'RE treating you? If the CAVS office didn't only waste his talent, then that man would stay. After all, despite all the hate, he came back and gave them ring.

LeBron really didn't make any mistake with leaving Cleveland other than the way he announced it. He put up with playing for a shitty Cleveland team for years and played out his contract. He had the balls to play this game and later brought Cleveland a championship against a 73-9 Warriors team. Even if he only retires as the second best basketball player I would take that over being the best and being a total jag-off like MJ.
