LOL. In reality he plays at a slow pace because he's old and so he can conserve his energy for when things get bad so he has the reserves to finally up his game and save the day. Watch him play-he's half-speed most of the game and fades most of the time late if he hasn't had enough bench time-not like his early years when he was a start-to-finish killer. The ONLY reason he is excelling in the Olympics is that his superstar teammates are carrying him so he can get lots of rest, and each quarter is only 10 minutes instead of 12-HUGE DIFFERENCE for grandpa James........

One thing I will say is this. That aura that MJ has when he walks in the room will be the same aura that Lebron will have when he walks in the room after he retires. But with that being said..If he can somehow get 2 more rings then he will be the GOAT to me. But until then I'm sticking with MJ. I gotta give Lebron props though because he may legitimately have 3-4 years left in him. It's going to come down to how successful The Lakers are.

If you never saw Jordan play, then your GOAT opinion is irrelevant. What LeBron did today was legendary. Willing his team to victory, when the moment was too big for everyone but him. However, it doesn't mean the bias LeBron lovers now have a say in the GOAT debate. So once again, if you've never seen Jordan play, your opinion is irrelevant

No. He's one of the top 10 NBA players ever, but only because he's run up the points over 20 years, and he still only has 4 championships. If he would have taken less money to build a dynasty team around him, like Jordan did, he would have at least 8 rings, but he kept destroying every team he played for by leaving because he didn't automatically get a ring. He should have left Cleveland for the Lakers, not the Heat, and let the players come to him, dropping his pay to get the pieces needed over a 3 year period, then rings like crazy. He's a selfish jerk who always blamed someone else when his team crashed.

@@rxr2066 WTAF are you talking about? LeBron failed miserably with his first Cleveland team, went to a loaded Heat team and won 2, then came back to a much better Cleveland team and only won 1. Jordan won 6 because he was patient and respected his teammates and coach and got the players around him he needed to complement his style and Jackson's vision. If he would have bailed on the Bulls early on he would have signed with an already fairly loaded team, won a couple, then struggled just like LeBron and blamed everyone else just like LeBron did until he barely won 1 with another team, and then 1 last one with another team. LeBron did not understand what it actually took to build a dynasty team around a player of his talent-patience, accepting a lower salary, and getting elite players that can rotate him off the court to rest. He never understood, and still doesn't understand that you need a strong bench to get you to the title every single year. He always let his core 3 guys leave just before they were about to become an unstoppable dynasty. He should absolutely have 8 rings right now-that's why he will never be considered the greatest, or even in the top 5-it's not about total lifetime points and how long you played, it's about how you elevated your team, not just yourself, and won championships over and over with the same teammates.
