Here was the plot. James called Green and said: "Listen, I want out of this Lakers joint but we gotta make it look good! So here is how we gonna do it.....Send in a request to the Lakers, but imma blank you all.... so that makes me look really good and besides its mid season so it wont make sense....BUT.....I wanna play with Bronny...and Lakers aint gonna draft him even if I threaten to leave but if you draft Bronny that gives me the incentive and makes it look like the Lakers did not do enough to keep me...."

Just a note Wayne Gretzky did not play hockey into his 40’s, he retired at 38, which for a player of his calibre is almost early. A better example is Gordie Howe (played in his 50s), and a more recent example is Jaromir Jagr, who played NHL until he was 45 and is still playing in Europe into his 50s

They can literally send their whole squad of young players, picks, and G-League players if that's what the Lakers want. I mean, if he’ll insist on never being a bench player then it’s a stretch but if in 3 years he’s devolved to 15ppg 7rb 4as .5st .5bl and he is on his sons team AND is ok with coming off the bench? There's no "very legitimate argument for LeBron James versus Michael Jordan" when there was Kobe Bryant. In my eyes, it's MJ, Kobe, and then LeBron. Also, if Steph wins a fifth ring while LeBron stays with four, there could be a very legitimate argument for LeBron James versus Steph Curry.

Your biase towards the lakers really came out in this one 1. Lebron hasnt played a 82 game season since he left cleveland 67 being the most seen alot of 50 and 40 game seasons. Not impressed by his so called longevity. 2. If he went to the warriors theres no doubt in my mind they would be in contention for the finals. 3. Lebrons legacy would be damaged forever if he went to golden state. Sorry Mike your takes were a bit skewed on this one. Lol

You gotta consider CP3 and Lebron’s friendship too, so if the warriors keep CP3, that’s even more reason for Lebron to go to the Warriors. If he does though it’s gonna look soft

Maybe not to GS or the sixers but I’m sure that if say Boston or the clippers asked he would’ve considered it. He wants another ring but would only jump ship to a team that’s just about guaranteed to make the finals! Ring chasing Bron

His decision is to stick to the plan and be able to go where ever next year so he can pressure the NBA into overdrafting Bronny (and maybe he really does wanna play with his son, but I'm not sure that'd be the best thing for his sons career but who knows).

Adding the flopping diva to Warriors roster make no sense, unless they want to completely destroy their team. He'll never adjust to the system that Warriors run, because he has always played in le-system. He could probably play a role similar to Draymond on offense, being the facilitator, but I can't imagine him setting hard screens for Curry to run around. Plus, he plays 0 defense when compared to Draymond, who's the anchor of Warriors defense. So in reality it's a no-win situation for the Warriors - rather they should develop their new players and add quality veteran role players around them that could be their mentors (like Chris Paul is currently).

It's impressive but not as crazy as people make it sound I mean until the playoffs start u basically just have 82 shoot arounds and rest on defense very few players actually play defense thru out the season not like 15 years ago when even stars played defense as well as s ore

ah I see the plan here. His kid either legitimetly tanks in the Draft or on purpose so that Lakers have a chance to pick him in the draft. LeBron does not have to move or shift anywhere and can retire comfortably as a Laker and still play with his son.

One point of note, Lebron won't need to learn a new system. He knows it already. He could plug and play into any team in the league at any given time.

Lebron to Cavs people keep saying trae young to spurs but how about Darius Garland to Spurs spurs has alot (34) picks and could bid for him don mitchell resigns with cavs Don Mitchell Caris Lavert Lebron Evan Mobley Jarrett Allen with max struss and some other shooters they can get off the bench is a Championship level team Darius Garland needs more time in the oven it feels like to become true pg and where better than san antonio to play with the best upcoming big and spurs culture Lakers needs picks and young talent. Can see them taking isaac okoro, emoni bates, sochan type players and alot of picks as they prepare for a full rebuild as you cant win with only day2davis and will request a trade next season after lebron leaves.

He leaves a team as soon as it gets difficult. Signs one year deals and forces each team to mortgage their future. Hopefully win a lock out season championship, or bubble tournament, and then leave the team in shambles with no futures for 5-8 years. This guy runs from adversity and tries to find the easy way to win. He can break all the records he wants, he’s not Mike
