I agree with homegirl lbj doesn't play organize bball, players have to adjust to his game because he's so limited offensively. He doent play consistent defense, constantly flops scared to take the last shot , unreliable at the ft line , he is not top 20 he doesn't have the skills as other stars, and can only achieve with superteams, he's been playing 21yrs and still can't close a game, needs help every yr, blames others when he takes an L, and gas the most limited offensively game of any star, w/o lowering his shoulder like a running back he can't score and it should be called as an offensive foul, lbj fans always claiming g he's great but can't tell you what he's great at make it make sense

My uncommon opinion here is to put Bill Russell as the GOAT, even if he happened to win less championships I would consider the possibility of ranking him higher than the average fan because in his last seasons he acted as a player and as the coach successfully and won the championship as the underdog which contradicts the narrative that he always won because he always had the better team. Michael Jordan was chasing Bill Russell's records, 11 championships and 8 straight, even LeBron one can argue thought in Russell in his infamous not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, not 7... Eight is the right number as it represents infinity by the way. Side note, I agree with Mel when he says skill wise, MJ and Hakeem are the standards.

I loved it when Dominique said that Tim Duncan and Kevin Garnett were better than LeBron James as he doesn't play organized basketball. That's true. He sucks his teammates' energy and then goes on to another carrier, like a virus. He leaves everybody worse, the exact opposite of great leaders. I also loved the reaction of Eric when he complained that so many young people hate LeBron while they weren't even there when he entered the league. It was like hearing what LeBron fans have been doing for the last 10-15 years against MJ and entire eras of basketball they haven't ever watched. I have Lebron unranked because: 1. lack of mastery of fundamentals (violations of which are never called) 2. he cheats the game If I had to rank him I could only consider his first 7 years in the league. He really isn’t in the top 20 and that’s not bc I don’t like him it’s bc it’s the truth. I’d pick anyone from the dream team except one then you have AI, KG, Kemp, miller, shaq , Kobe, penny, hill, and that’s off the top of my head and that’s not including any old old school players then you have atleast 5 or more in the league todays era. Then lebron. The people I listed show up every night and do their job without all the bs. You can’t even count on lebron every night. Then you put his flopping he brought to the league and all the crying and the help of the refs. All they can say about lebron is longevity and most points and either means nothing. He’s on steroids and he pays people to say he’s great and he tries to influence people for mvp votes. What does the top 3 scorers have in common? 20 plus years and you don’t hear anyone say Karl Malone is the goat bc he’s 3 in points and I’m not saying he is but this is one reason they say lebron is. And if you bring up that record you have to bring up all his records like most missed shots and most turnovers in history and then he’s 3rd is missed free throws and missed 3 pointers so longevity means nothing it just means you’ve played a long time. And even the rings don’t say who’s goat. Lebron can win 4 more which will never happen and still won’t be the goat. When you talk about the greatest you have to factor everything and every skill which MJ is the only one on any of these list that has all the skills and excels at all and the best in most. Lebron doesn’t have defense at all and when u only play half court on steroids sure you can play for 20 years. Kobe was the closest thing to MJ and that’s bc he tried to do everything MJ did but he forced to many shots and some would say he was a ball hog. He’s second in missed shots with less years than lebron. So he shot a lot but that don’t take away from his skill. Lebron can’t handle the ball he has to have people sit a pick for him and he travels 8 out of 10 times. Bird is second. Bird and magic made America want to watch basketball and MJ inspired the world to want to play.
