No Fame James: If James wasn't on the team, anyone would want that job because the roster would be solid and you would have Anthony Davis and all you'd have to do is build as they have been able to do during the Rob Pelinka era .... All the Lakers need are guys who can take care of the boards, rebound consistently, and two guys who do the 'dirty work' and a guy that can consistently get to the line at the small forward or wing positions...you get guys like that you'll be successful.... As far as James on the team is concerned, if I were the Lakers, I'd let him go even if we'd have two or three down seasons, it's not worth it -- you are already a 7th seed and first round exit team at best, might as well do it your way and be great in the long run.
