Before rodman signed with the Bulls, rodman was a... - 2 time all star - 2 time champion - 2 time All NBA player - 2 time DPOY honoree - 7 time All Defensive team - 4 time rebounding champion Now, I'm no expert but wouldn't that have made him a "Hall of Very Good" player … if not a Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer? And what does having those accolades mean for him if we go by the "he wasn't a starter" narrative?

Jordan said himself that Ron Harper and Rodman were two of the toughest defenders he had to go up against. They both ended up on his team. He never had to leave to “join up” with other players because Krause was getting all the players for Jordan. Traded for Pippen, got Kukoc from overseas before overseas players were really doing their thing in the league, went through three different coaches till he found the right one in Phil, etc etc. Jordan didn’t need to leave because he had an organization that did what needed to be done. There’s a reason why Kobe almost left the Lakers in 07. If the front office doesn’t get the job done, you’d want to leave too.

@@michaelleon6211 they got pip in the draft a rookie from a small school definitely not the same as teaming up with established all stars. MJ helped pip be great MJ was great before pip got there. The key free agent pick up was rodman. But ppl forget or just don't know at that time rodman was done nobody wanted him. It all worked out but definitely could have went the other way I think playing with MJ helped a lot with that too. Ron Harper lol was well past his prime injuries took his explosiveness away very solid but not close to a all star. 😂 People say anything to cap for lebron bring up kukoc really? He was cool nothing like they making out to be came nowhere close to his expectations never was a all star with bulls. I guess luc longley was a top 10 center as well? Don't even get me started on that garbage bench MJ had jud buchler, randy brown, bill wennington, even kerr was kind of overblown my lebron fans he was ok off the bench couldn't play d to save his life but did hit some big shots. I take nothing away from Phil but if his coaching career started with a team like the Cavs instead of bulls back then that whole narrative change. There no way most of the ppl talking like this actually watched basketball during that era. Joe Budden did but a lot of times he barely know what he talking about when it comes to rap, something he actually do so that tells me all I need to know 🤣

Why did teammate have to be matching so much in the goat debate? Jordan is clearly a better officensive and defensive player than lebron didn’t have deficiencies that LeBron has. The argument should come down to longevity versus peak. Talking about the competition they played doesn’t do any player justice, while LeBron face far better teams in the finals Jordan face far better teams in the playoffs. This is one of the worst arguments I’ve heard rivaling ESPN and FS1

What superstar player has a drop in asts/g when he's given the ball and the offense? Also people need to realize that the record did not entirely indicate how much worse the Bulls had actually gotten, they had significant drops in team statistics after Jordan left and were lucky to get that many wins. Lebron gets to play GM...and loses. Now I'm not saying he's not a goat, he's a goat who i feel tried so hard to be a goat, he shopped around for his Rings. Played GM lost, Left teams in shambles in doing so. MJ sat on one team and expected you to win. Won, gets shitted on....still makes billions of haters.....hasn't played in how long and is still relevant. Reason Lebron will never win over Jordan? Haha it just amazes me. Michael Jordan brought such a different mentality to sports (NOT JUST BASKETBALL) and became so great that people got tired of hearing it. He came in to the NBA, played his heart out every time he stepped out, never sat out, and never traded teams just so he could to prove everybody that he was the best. Saying that winning 3 titles with 3 different teams are more impressive than going 6-0 proves my point. What if MJ teamed up with Pistons in 90, won 3 championships, and then went to play with Hakeem or Ewing for a couple of years and won another 4-5? If MJ would be that dude then being the "Michal Jordan" of something would not be a saying today. The fact that people use the phrase "He's the Michal Jordan of surfing" and you instantly know the meaning of it says everything about the greatest athlete of all time.

All waterpump, they'll call it as "Sanyo" even if the brand is Shimizu or something else. It's all about branding. "Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player" was the greatest advertisement ever from the 80's-90's. Started by Nike, a huge success. The others follow. That's something shoved into every oldheads brain, including me. When you Jordan worshippers talking about rings, back when Nike started the campaign he's still ringless. Imagine if back then we all can clap back through social media like today. "Swept by Pistons" "Where's your rings?" "Kareem got 6 rings". Those Air Jordan won't sell so much. But no. Noone talking about rings back then. The rings talk only started when Jordan's gone. They're knocking LeBron for recruiting players. But if Jerry Krause listened to Jordan's advice when it came to drafting and trading player prior to Jordan's 1st retirement, I can't say for sure the Bulls would win 6 finals. Jordan wanted Krause to get Joe Wolf from the Tar Heels in 1987 instead of getting Horace Grant and another player who was projected to become an NBA superstar by the name of Scottie Pippen. Drafting Joe Wolf over Pippen would delay the Bulls from winning 50 games or even winning a series for a few extra seasons. And Jordan went on a huge recruiting campaign after the Bulls got molly whopped in the 1995 playoffs. He literally called rodman and told him to come to Jerry Krause's house after his failure to get Jayson Williams. Jayson Williams said: Jordan told me all he needs is for me to rebound, and he’ll get me two or three rings. He was all over me. He said I was at the top of list. Jordan said, "I had to come all the way to your neighborhood to find you." I don't know about y'all but I'll take how history played out. It's better than being in the situation where LeBron was in for his entire first stint with Cleveland.

The problem is they discredit MJ for beating teams who was in front of him which were 50 plus win teams but don’t address Bron beating up on a Monte Ellis bucks, a pG and Roy Hibbert pacers, a trash knicks team and more like come on yo the east was at its weakest dam near the whole time Bron was there until maybe his last 2 years

@@go_423 trash ass east teams he played in the playoffs. They bring up two teams in the finals, well 3, vs the spurs when he had nobody, 73-9 warriors and KD warriors that’s basically what they bring up. Chris Bosh was nice, Kevin love was nice and Lebron had Eric Spo as a coach. They both had nice teams, no matter how they got them. It seemed like Jordan was organization first. Lebron probably tired of the GMs during his first time in Cleveland so he took matters into his on hands.

The team that made lebron leave Cleveland (Mo Williams was the second best player btw) had 1 big name player out of 4 acquired through the draft. Then he went back to his team to get them a ring. Then the team he beat got the other top 3 player (2 against 1 with the 2 having better depth) just to stack the deck against lebron because he took the soul out of them. Lebron forming a "super team" is a moot point
