Let's get the facts straight. Yeah The Bulls were a beast of a team but that was a Lakers team that was injured. Kareem was out he might've been retired at that point, no James Worthy. Now if the Bulls played against a healthy Lakers team with an active Kareem at 38 years old we might to singing a different tune but it is what it is.

Not even close, Jorden is the Goat all time 6 time undefeated NBA Champion. And Kobe’s right under him now we know LeBron is under Kobe when it comes down to it. In any sport it’s about the championship rings. That’s what makes Tom Brady, the goat as far as an NFL quarterback because of his championship wins. That’s the whole thing that they strive for is to win a championship and LeBron is stuck at number three now once he becomes a five time NBA champion then he’ll go up to Kobe‘s level, but until then he’s stuck in the number three slot

You can use numbers but era's change and the most important measure of a players greatness is their greatness in realtion to their peers. Jordan was the best player of his era by a huge margin, no one came close. Lebron was the best player for a number of years but it was never clear cut. Jordan got 30 when 25 was elite...there's currently 17 players averaging 25+ >>in 93 when Jordan got 32 there where 5.

In the last 50 years, Career Résumé - Total Achievements: (Titles / MVPs / Finals MVPs / 1st All-NBA / 1st All-DEF / Scoring Titles/ All-Star MVPs) 1st: Jordan = 49 2nd: Kobe = 34 2nd: LeBron = 34 4th: Kareem = 31 5th: Duncan = 29 … You can debate 2nd-5th place but Jordan is so far ahead of everyone else…it’s not even close. Also the most amazing thing is that Jordan accomplished all this while playing in at least 5 years less than the other players … By the way, Curry has 13 Total Achievements in his career and Jokic has 7. That’s just to put things into perspective in the overall picture

Shannon sounds like a LeShill again with these bogus arguments. 1) Jordan did run into Warriors 17/18 equivalents MANY TIMES. In 86 and 87 he ran into Celtics that had 4 starters in HOF. Then next 4 years he ran into Pistons that constantly had 3 HOFers in Thomas, Dumars and Rodman. That's 6 straight years Jordan ran into superb teams in playoffs. Only help Jordan had was Pippen and sometimes nothing. 2) You cannot say Jordan faced an old Magic Johnson in 91 finals and then give Lebron a pass in 2011, 2013 and 2014. What's the age of Norwitzki, Duncan and Ginobili during those finals? That's a shill argument. Jordan at least won in 91. Lebron OTOH nearly went 0-3 during those 3 finals if not for Ray Allen saving his legacy. Lebron's 2014 loss to ol' Duncan was so bad he set NBA final record on losing margin per game. The only all star teammate Jordan ever had was Pippen, and that's nuf for Jordan to win 6 rings in 2 three-peats manner. Lebron OTOH needed 5 all stars in Irvine, Love, Bosh, DWade and Brow to only produce 4. Lebron needed more help and yet produced less rings than Jordan. He clearly is not as good. In fact, why do we even rank Lebron at #2? Kareem, Magic, Kobe and Duncan all won more. Lebron is not even top 5.

@@Mainesthoughtand nobody ever mentions that Jordan's 80's competition was far better than his 90's competition. He couldn't get past Boston, Philly, Lakers, and Detroit until they aged out or self imploded. None of his Finals opponents had more than 2 hall of fame leveled players. LeBron in his 4th season took a team that had no business being in the Finals past Detroit who were big title contenders. Jordan's system from top to bottom (front office, coach, second star player, key role players) were better and allowed Jordan to flourish. If he has LeBron's teams from 2003-2010 and 2018 Finals team or Lakers 2019 team, he'll struggle if not worse. Also take Coach Phil out too because he contributed to Jordan's winning as well.
