Do you learn from this professor and made changes in your teaching style?

This is the only GenChem I have experienced, which covers everything that you will ever learn in HS, and then expounds on it many fold. Sadoway is simply a brilliant man. I can only hope that I can learn some of his magic.

The explanation image given for the paramagnetism of oxygen at 40:51 is not for molecular oxygen but for fluorine. Great lecture tho! :)

Nope Paramagnetism is about having unpaired electrons, and you can see Fluorine has all of its electrons paired contrary to the Oxygen whose π* electrons are unpaired

Sadoway crushes these lectures. Thank you for consciously adding that SHE at 40:05.

At 18:40 the comment about first ionization potential is incorrect, because it means the potential energy, not any other meaning of the word of "potential". What the prof. Sadoway meant under the word "potential" has the proper designation as "the difference in electric potential between two electrodes", which is obviously not the energy.

At UBC we went through all of this over 3-4 classes, yet this prof only used 1 class!!!

When he talks about the highway lights isn't disodium going to dissociate in case it emits a photon (resulting from a desexcitation of one of its electrons)?
