@ prof.s.k.som . sir there is little mistake over there .you made Qb=t2(s2-s1) and Qc=T1(s1-s4') but this should be Qb=T1(S1-S4') and Qc=T2(s2-s1) thank you !!

Can we change heat completely in to work in a non cyclic process?

Then we heat a working system which takes the heat from this burning gases and it executes the cyclic process and develops power. 7:08 Sometimes, this burnt products itself performs as a system of the cyclic process and produce power, This happens in IC engine. Sometimes, this burnt product produces the source of heat, where heat is given to another fluid or another system executing the cyclic process which happens in a steam power plant and produces power.

why we use condenser here in cycle, however feed pump increases pressure of liquid.
@bhavna90274 жыл бұрын
To change the state(from steam to liquid) we used condenser and to increase the pressure we used pump

44:48 you wrote "h1-h4' =T1( s1-s4') " But dh=Tds +v dp ,1,4' are not at same pressure. So, you can't neglect v dp term. Can anyone explain this?
@neerajkgond3 жыл бұрын
if the point 4' be inside dom then it will be correct.
@atharva19132 жыл бұрын
1,4 are at same pressure Since they both lie on constant pressure line

@chetankapadnis54253 жыл бұрын
It is Wn/Qb or 1-Qc/Qb

42:45 how can 1-2-3-4' be the same cycle when 1 & 4' are on different pressure lines?
@rajat37445 жыл бұрын
cuz in carnot cycle, heat addition is at const temp and not isobarically

How can there pressure remain same where phase is changing? At condenser and boiler ?
@riturajanand71334 жыл бұрын
the pressure is dropped because of friction and sir considered all the system as steady in condition, frictionless.....think of the flow of fluid through a thin pipe
@akshpatel28684 жыл бұрын
@@riturajanand7133 but even by neglecting friction loss phase is changing here and how can we say that pressure of liquid and that of vapor is same since pressure exerted by liquid is more.
@riturajanand71334 жыл бұрын
Brother I guess you don't know phase change took place in condenser , right...and during the process whole system is vaccum out to maintain constant pressure...... without friction and in vaccum , pressure must be constant......I know you got the point
@akshpatel28684 жыл бұрын
@@riturajanand7133 oh yes I thought it is normal condenser. Yes if vacuum is there then obviously pressure remains constant. Thanka to point it out👍🏼

@mayursingh79596 жыл бұрын
Akshay Deshmukh Agar boiler ko turbine ke niche lagaya toh!!!
@rahulakrgh6 жыл бұрын
nhi kar sakte because when water comes out from the condenser it has low pressure to increase the pressure we use feedpump
@bhavna90274 жыл бұрын
@@mayursingh7959 to steam ka temp aur badh jaega, aur condenser se liquid mein convert karne ke liye zyaada mehnat lagegi

I am from the USA and this movie looks like something made in the 1970's- India lacks in technology and modernity, the professor is probably 75 years old today. You Indians never cease to amaze me!
@VIVEKKUMAR-lk8mn7 жыл бұрын
the video was uploaded 7 years back ...... & .if u want to see the modernity in us then watch the latest videos on steam and gas power plant system by IIT roorkee ........today we are leading the world ......for your concerned information sir..........the CEOs of top rank companies are indians not americans ............we constructed our own INS VIKRANT.....we reached on moon and you guys still think we lives in villages ....... we helped the bangladesh ...even when we were poor ....today we are rich .....think what we can able to do........i think you are living in 1970s....update your information about us ..... NAMASTE
@prasantapal81077 жыл бұрын
Cyro Lacorte .Hello USA boy. I think you are just concentrate on video quality only,not the content or lecture quality
@PrashantKumarSomesh7 жыл бұрын
If your focus was on the content instead of quality, you would then have definitely appreciated it. Focusing on the content without any bias may help.
@uniqorn22757 жыл бұрын
even if you are from USA & consider yourself superior than us then why you are watching the videos of we indians ??? & yes, even if the sir is of 75 years old.....see his efforts to make his students educated so that the one who can`t reach upto them can also attend their lecture. I can understand that you will really get amazed when you see such old sir continue to teaching......because In USA such a old sir would have taken a retirement.
