sir here in means of action as u said can be altered or changed . for ex going to temple we can not change situational constraint ie environemnet ,road , temple location and other physical paramater but here by means, which can be changed is something which is in hand of actor ie the way he drives the car, whether to take car , bus or taxi or which temple to go , which day to go , which time , whom to take with him wife, mother and children. sir is this notion correct

@@chhailushekhawat5067 Durkheim's view of religion is based on a functionalist perspective.... Now for his critic, you need to give counter view-points like Marxist perspective on religion (which is opposite to functionalist view) or weber's approach to religion (who criticises Durkheim's theory of religion as grand universal theory, he said we can not capture the totality of religious reality and therefore build an ideal type to study core aspects or essential features of religion and link it to capitalism).... Now, you need to 3-4 synthesise points from these diverse theories on your own to give critique of durkheim's religion based approach.... Also, I will teach religion chapter in later stages.... From there you could take up additional points.

21:05 to 22:40 sir actor wants to satisfy his needs which results in motives ( a reason to do something) which needs to formation of goals . but need disposition are {internal motive}, residues , derives plus values . sir how can motive are needs and then needs are internal motive.? sir if u have time please explain

Actors has internal motives which are shaped by external values (cultural system shapes personality system)..... This combination leads to rise of needs dispositions (Needs=Motive plus values).... To satisfy these needs, an actor defines goals and thereby manifest appropriate action negotiating with situational and normative constraints. In an action situation, therefore an actor has motivational and value orientation which leads to a specific type of action!!
