5. Types and forms of Family and Marriage.

No one completes the whole syllabus. KZbin has tons of videos of Paper 01 complete and leaving Paper 02 midway. Hope this is not going to meet the same fate. #upsc #optional

sir one que asked to differentiate family and household with reference to the concept of development of household here I know the basic difference points like1 residence 1 bond or relation bet mem 3 types 4 responsibilities. but que asked it in reference to the concept of the development of household. sir how to tackle such que even in chapter 1st que says the focal point of socio rests on interaction how do you distinguish it from common sense? here too some context is given. do we have to distinguish it only from interactionists' perspective?

You could differentiate socio from common sense from multiple points of view.... I will deal with it in a separate lecture.... Also, I keep emphasizing the difference between sociology and common sense when i have covered thinkers....... I will deal with difference between family and house hold soon

good evening sir, sir many que have been asked on social control like the role of the family in soc control role of ideology in soc control role of customs in soc control most effective agency of soc control here can we write about Talcott parsons concept soc control - stabilization of adult personalities (particularly in family que), then Marxist perspective indoctrination , ideological conditioning sir, I can only think of these points what else can we add ? these points look to me as how any agency exercises soc control but not its role in soc control sir. how to go for such que plz suggest

sir, what are difference and similaties bet Marxists and critical theorists? Marxists have an alternative to capitalism ie communism...in the same manner what is the goal of critical theorists?
