I think MAD players are great at executing, but I think this probably owes a lot of credit to the coaching staff for setting them up with a good draft, and maybe helped them set up the plays to dive bot and get a lead for Carzzy and Kaiser

It would be interesting if the other side would be talked about. What OG could or should have done to counter the plan of MAD. If you have a scaling advantage and a naturally winning lane in top Xerxe has to play to protect his lane not try to make plays somewhere else. If nothing happens he is happy.

I mean... Also, "just because an 'op' champion is open doesn't mean you HAVE to take it. Had OG gone for any other adc (one with more mobility) or a mage in mid they would have been fine.

The problem is OG never play through mid. Nukeduck is basically left to fend for himself and they hope he doesn't lose lane. They always put all their eggs into either the Upset or Alphari basket. Its kinda sad really. Put Ornn top and play Zoe mid and you have a pretty good game there.

as we saw, it isn't! e.g. in the draft it was pointed out, that syndra aphelios and orrn are the highly valued ones, of which origen got 2! This game showed that it's not about getting the very best champs, but to have a game plan, that already starts in drafting. They intentionally set the map up, so they can early bully the OG botlane. If after all that they were still even? I'd say OG would probably win fights, but MAD managed to put a stop to that.

@@Infiltator2 that didnt help, but i still think that the syndra sett provided such a threat of a kill lane that as long as cleanse was blown they would have snowballed. also renekton into ornn basically made it to where mid had no pressure and so they could kinda just go everywhere
