I don't quite know why Lechonk is so popular right now, but I can't help but enjoy it as well. Frankly, it's nice to have another Pokemon line based on pigs since Tepig didn't really do it for me. Wonderful animation as always, Charles!

I was just expressing that the name is really funny in English (due to meme culture). I was explaining why Lechonk got super popular (and I wasn't wrong), not where the name comes from. No, of course I don't think Pokemon Company named it Lechonk because they thought it sounded funny. They always draw name origins from somewhere, but that means the Pokemon was named Le Chonk purely incidentally which only makes it more funny.
