I watched part of your stream yesterday, and someone asked if it should be a starter tank. I am a new player, (I've played WoT Blitz for years though) and yes, I think it's good. The six round mag is nice and allows for mistakes while not being overpowered in a pros hands. It encourages taking a step back and looking around. Very nice.

Leclerc looks great. I am still grinding Era 2 of this line and I am not suffering that much so far on the contrary.

I played WOT Console from the 360 launch pretty hardcore for a few years, then I started taking breaks before eventually quitting at the time of the commander rework that everyone hated. Watching a video of it now, the new modern tanks look amazing but it's clear they've outgrown the tiny maps. I never did like the way that Wargaming would force short range engagements via their map design and it just looks ridiculous now with 30 modern tanks and AFVs zooming around these tiny little maps.

Played 2 games in ERA 1 in the Bat chat which looks great. Got a mastery but games where manic 9 bat chats per team. Went back to wot pc

Problem is the batchat is way better lol, just clip it then run away taking maybe 1 shot of damage.

Great review. Personally, I'm not a fan of the Leclerc. Like you mentioned, there are fuel tanks all over the place. A frontal ammo rack is horrible for side scraping, and its side armor is really bad. The entirety of both sides of the hull are overmatchable by most Era 3 tanks, which makes side scraping really risky. It looks like this is best played as a peak and shoot type tank rather than a hull-down/brawling style tank. Still, its definitely better than the T-72BU and Type 90-II.

So ridiculous… especially era 3 : concealment and view range is worth nothing 😂 era 3 in 99% is go with the lemming train and crash into the enemy tank like matchbox cars 🤷🏻‍♂️ so my leopard is good enough for that 🎉
