🙏🏼 Thank you for making these videos possible through your support of Running Rock Eco !!!
⛰️ Hike with us as we trek part of the Appalachian Trail to a very rare 2-night stay at one of the hardest lodges to get reservations at in the United States! Complete with a sunrise from Myrtle Point, sunset from the Cliff Tops, Rainbow Falls, and alpacas, deer, and red squirrels!
Trails we took:
📍Newfound Gap, NC/TN State line
Boulevard Trail
📍LeConte Lodge
Myrtle Point at Mt LeConte
Cliff Tops at Mt LeConte
Bullhead Trail
Rainbow Falls Trail
📍Gatlinburg, TN
🙏🏼Thank you to Keith and Darla Large for this once in a lifetime invitation!
And thank YOU all for your support in our adventures and projects!

Done it. Both a one night and a two night stay. And yes it's a special place. Sunrises and sunsets! YES!

Spectacular. I was just in the park last week....Mt Leconte was snow covered...while we were in the cove. ♥️

People misunderstand the magnitude of these mountains, 5000 ft of elevation from Gatlinburg to its peak.

Thank you for the most excellent feedback. We try to mix in some of our outdoor activities and now I'll be sure to think of recording our next jaunt in these great forests.

THAT WAS AWESOME! What a fantastic way to spend time with family. I laughed and cried. My heart want's to go back there so bad. I've never been able to stay overnight. I can only imagine what the night sky must look like from there. Thank you for sharing your adventure.

You are so very right. That mountain is often covered in fog and clouds but even those days are special.
