Leconte Lodge Stay with Toddlers, Hike Up Alum Cave Trail - Jurassic Jungle Boat Ride

Hiking with two little girls on our backs. We started up Alum Cave to get to the top of Mount Leconte and stay and eat at the lodge there. Oil lamps to see at supper around a family-styled meal, and propane heaters to keep us warm in the lodge. Mount Leconte actually had a Pack & Play available for us to use. Kate and Michael (that's me) barely got any sleep (trying to keep the little ones quiet all night)! The next morning, Michael actually thought the year was 2024 (it was still 2023). Great trip! Fun adventure with Kate and the girls! On the way home Emma asked to see the dinosaurs at the Jurassic Jungle Boat ride in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee - so we did as a reward for her being so good on the hike.
