@airtwaine sometimes I had felt like that, and I had to come to the end of my ropes or had to come down to where I couldn't go down anymore. I asked Him to come into my life and change my way of understanding so I wouldn't feel like that. I asked Him to change me to where I may love again, because I was cold inside, and to change me to where I may have Him over me so he could guide me and make me an honorable man of Him. He came into my life that next day and I've kept in His word ever since.

I think that people nit pick because lecrae has been caught sinning for example in a radio station the host pointed out that they were both drinking a beer... they like to pin point the negative but we are all sinners...and sometimes temptations can take over but as long as you admit to Jesus that you have sinned ....I think he is genuine and if not that is between him and God...either way this man spreads the word of God and it can touch many and that's all that matters....

@airtwaine pray what you feel...don't pray what you don't feel...whatever you're feeling just say it to Jesus. even if you say, Lord my heart is not in it, you can ask him to open up your heart to him so that he can move closer to you...remember Philippians 4:13, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. He can change your heart if you're willing!

prayers but they were praying for simple things like "God make me rich" or something like that but thats trivial and not as important you come to Christ and show him you love him you pray for things that will not only make a difference in your life but others and remember things arent done on our time the bible says it's done on his time and his time only.

@airtwaine Simply be honest with God because all prayer is communication; where we listening and and talk to God. You can pray Scripture back to God because that's His will and way, and He will always honor His Word. God already knows your struggles, your shortcomings, and everything else about you, and He just want you to know Him better.

there is some crae haters out there. Bout to do somemore research see what there claims are but he is for real he is transparent in his music. I just like to see both sides of an argument most of the time the haters are telling lies and have stupid or no evidence to back up their claim. Lecrae is genuine it seems.

@airtwaine Seek spiritual guidance from a local church or a brother/sister in Christ. Spend time in the Bible reading and letting yourself be saturated in the Word. The book of Romans is a great place to start. Hold fast to the Word of God and the gospel as revealed to us in the person of Jesus Christ.

@airtwaine you posted this a year ago. Have you figured out how to pray from the heart yet? there is really no way to it. You just talk to God like you would a friend. First confess and ask God for sin, both known and unknown because sin separates us from God therefore if there is unconfessed sin, then He will not hear our prayers. Then just talk to Him. Then after you pray, be still and just listen to Him reveal things to you. =)
