Tricky situation. Could also have the opposite effect. If a christian listens to her song with Nikki it may cause them to stumble as they discover and or rediscover Nikkis other songs. This could potentially be worse causing a brother/sister to stumble

The issue with this is that the negative impact far outweighs the positive. Meaning: people will think that God is blessing and okay with the likes of a Nicki Minaj and the standard for what’s acceptable as holiness is now non-existent. Exactly why people living lukewarm thru out the church and thinking it’s ok to live like the world and then mentioned Gods name.

I have songs i collected over the years from some of Lecraes albums and a few from Tasha...i have much respect for the talent of both and how theyve been a blessing to many....however i donot agree that you have to lower your standards to reach out to the unsaved...Therefore collaborating with artists that directly donot respect or uphold your message is outrightly you as an artist and vessel of God contradicting yourself...is like saying fire will burn you but go ahead and stick your finger in it ...just a word of caution to our beloved artists...we love you guys

Moses struck the Rock, the people were happy and drank the water. That's a testimony. Yeah! Moses didn't enter the promised land because of the people. Uzzah tried to help God, he touched The Ark of The Lord. He died. Be careful when you prioritize testimonies over The Testament. You two know what's up. Get right with God.

That song with Nikki should've never happen because the energies didn't match more so than Nikki is a secular artist. It seemed more of "let me get the hottest in the game" type collab than a "let's get the person who truly best fit my energy" collab. Tasha and Nikki do not seem like they would be friends or vibe at all, even if both were gospel artist or both were secular artist. Now, all the don't work with secular artist just because they are secular argument just take away from the really looking at if that collab would make sense in any realm.

@tyeishaleisure I haven't heard it. Maybe because I don't like the Nikki version, so whenever it comes on, I turn it off. Don't even wait to see if Nikki is going to come on or not. So it is plausible that the song is not good.

Who cares what people say?! What does the word of God say? James 4:4 You adulterous people! Don’t you know that friendship with the world is hostility toward God? So whoever wants to be the friend of the world becomes the enemy of God. These people are double minded and have no relationship with God, you can clearly see that, so why use them to “lead others to God”, how about using your own testimony, what God has delivered YOU from.. we must be set apart from the world, Christ demands holiness and if you disagree, read your Bible..

Topic of discussion is Very Interesting. I like her new song, Lay My Burden Down. ❤😊❤ Gospel artists use secular music all the time and change it up and make it Gospel Music. Most Gospel artists come from the church. I believe ALL artists are trying to reach those lost in the wilderness. I PRAY they DO NOT get lost out there themselves. Like she said, maturity. I can futuristically, see the Devil attacking their character and their Godliness and Holiness. However, we have a forgiving GOD and once you have the foundation, of who GOD IS: you know how to get back on the right path. I understand they are trying to reel in the wicked, young and restless but DO compromise yourself. I will be in support of their attempt and PRAY they reach many and bring them into GOD! I’m just NOT mature enough to straddle that fence. I am a Babe in Christ making corrections of things learned wrong and trying to Learn New things about my GOD, Lord and savior who I worship, Love and Praise.

I think it’s okay when you bring them into your environment, I listened to the song and niki wasn’t pouring out her usual stuff it was sound. I don’t really pay attention to the secular artists in these songs anyway it’s the artist like Crae, Tasha, Tauren, and Jekayln, that I listen to them for. The secular artists don’t get me pumped with these songs so it’s okay, but I want the artists to know they are enough and we listen to the music because of them not because of the Featured “famous guest artist”…

Doesn't matter if she wasn't pouring out her usual self, her usual self is God-less, hypersexual, and she is married to a whole pedophile. No matter how you word it, the colaboration was not led by God, she became greedy and allowed the enemy to seduce her with money. This is how you set apart lukewarm Christians from God's people.

Testimony in all it's sincerity does not determine truth. The Scripture does, if you can't prove what you do with the Scripture, please don't tell us about what you feel or think. Don't tell us what people have said and testified. These things are good but it starts and ends with the Scripture.

It's sad these to are more concerned with money and fame, rather than worshiping in spirit and in truth. Money is there motivation. I wish more Christians had better discernment and could see thru the lies. Matthew 6:24 No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.

This is not good. They are trying to make it sound like it is. But it is not. You create a stumbling block for people who do follow Christ . Or did. These secular artist should not be in Christian songs. But the gag is, if the artist aren’t lined up with God like they should be, the song will automatically not glorify him. Tasha Cobbs. Lecrae, I can say I’m greatly disappointed. Both of you have fallen and forgotten your purpose. I do hope and pray you find God again.

Why is personal success or praises of men the measure we use to determine godly approval or success? Let’s be honest, most people that profess Christianity don’t know the gospel. Gospel music is void of the real gospel message, if it wasn’t the world hate it. A lot of these preachers and artists are disciplining people into narcissism. Then to think so arrogantly that because/if God decides to use your feebleness to bring someone to saving faith, that it was because of you but really it was in spite of you. I was saved as a “minister” not because my pastor was faithful preaching but because he wasn’t. I couldn’t understand why he didn’t want to preach the word of God so I read it myself. I was convicted of my sin and saw my need for the savior. God will and can use anything anybody to call his sheep and then send you to hell. Christianity in the west is so christless it’s disgusting. Personal opinions and these psychedelic-like experiences have replaced the inspired world of God. We’re so comfortable with offering offense to believers to “win souls”. The question is what are we winning them to and what are we winning them with?! There are countless numbers of unconverted “Christian’s” in churches and unfortunately in pulpits. I hate this nonsense because I was on my way to hell and none of the “pastors” around me would TELL ME THE TRUTH!! BUT GOD!!! What a wicked, wicked, wicked statement, people and world! We want people to know God loves them without biblically defining what that means?! We’ve turned the gospel into an experience and an attraction. And all the clowns are on stage pacifying you to destruction. Plus the song was so biblically ignorant( I mean that in the definition of the word) that how could you say with a straight face that you were talking about the God of the Bible. In all reality it was an example of the book of Jude.

The people that say things like "I never listened to gospel music until this song" or " I nevr believed in God until I heard this song" are people that still crave an attachment to wordly things. Rachetness and Godliness do not go together, this "Half holy, half hood" trend is not of God,so people whoclaim they found God through rachet/worldy artist, make me wonder which god because it's the the heavenly father and Jesus. Lukewarm Christian artist and God-less churches watering down God's word to make the world more comfortable with God, but truth is not about comfort, it is about change. Lecrae and Tasha gave in to the enemy's temptation.

Christian Singers are there to usher in the of glory of God. They aren’t suppose to save anybody with their music. Jesus didn’t come to earth and perform a musical everywhere He went. He sent a HELP the Holy Spirit who will cause conviction in the heart of man. Human’s need to stop trying to use saving people as a motivation to do non biblically sound things; leave it to the Holy Spirit and simply obey. Just follow the Word of God and you won’t get caught up in this kind of mess.
