When Preston said when he does evangelism, he starts off by introducing the people to GOD'S goodness and HIS creation that was rite on point... We also have to remember that it was the GOODNESS of GOD that led us to repentance. That's law. Going into the streets with empathy and compassion, then trusting GOD to deliver. I'm from the hood. This was one of the best conversations I’ve heard in a long time. I repent for talking bad about you Lecrae, you and many others. But I didn’t pray for you all. You’re public while I and others can hide our struggles while we point fingers. I’m going to get Preston’s book. God has shown me that talking to people about Jesus is evangelism, and to pray for them even after. I also repent for not liking being a seed planter. This podcast was an answered prayer in so many ways. One way I will highlight is the way Preston talked about the reason he fell in love with Jackie. I prayed for God to show me men who aren’t shallow and carnal in the church, and actually have depth with God, men who respect and value women. I honestly thought they’d be few and far between. To hear Preston speak is God reminding me that there are still kingdom men out there for kingdom women. Real men who are focused on the kingdom and aren’t rejecting the sanctification process. Men willing to get healed and change and be vulnerable. Praying for you and your family. Thanks again ✌🏽

They do have Jesus, and there are those available, for as women study, look at others, do our own personal work, so are men responsible for their response to God. It's no more, BOY! go outside and play, BUT get busy with loving and imitating God. Should women support males who want it? Yes! but they don't need to be babied, even though they may seem to like, inside they may hate it. They know who they are supposed to be like women do. All of us need to please God, and not the world, and to get the Wisdom/Jesus to be wise in it.

I usually start with my own testimony 😊. I come with a humble and low at heart posture. ❤️. When I came to Christ God just put love in my heart for people. I used to hate people. The real miracle is that God forgave a woman like me " an abortionist" . The whole world would condemn me but one thing I know that when I bowed down and asked God to forgive me "" Me Forgave me and took my shame and guilt away. Now me and God are friends 🧡. To hear Preston share the story about Jackie sharing her poem @the gay pride event while standing on the sidewalk - and while weeping brought me to tears. Good interview. I will say though regarding evangelism we can't reach people through how well we articulate. Even when I've used a more gentle approach with people I realize it's a matter of their heart. It's God's job to convince them. No matter how well I give the gospel if their heart doesn't want it, they will not receive it. Our job is to just give them the gospel. Jesus died for them and rose on the third day and he does love them. They either believe it or not. Many times people wanna blame the approach for their rejection of truth.

A lot of pastors could also benefit from listening to these men of God not saying that they are perfect and if you listen with your spiritual ears your will be able to get a better understanding of how each one is truly displaying how God relates with them. Every child of God has a different relationship with the Lord because we are all different people. Loving our wives in the most detailed way will show them Christ working in us and will help them draw closer to God. I have had my share of struggles brothers with my marriage and I thank the Lord that my and I are working together through them. James 4:12 “Humble yourself before the Lord and he will lift you up.” Thank God for you two.

Bought the book immediately after this cause I feel the EXACT SAME WAY! I don't like the fire and brimstone street evangelism. It fails to SEE the person. It fails to see God and His beautiful intentions for people. If we preach inspired by self-righteousness, 9/10 people will respond with an attitude of self righteousness and opposition. We needa listen to people and share the good news of what God has done. Jesus did all the self improvement/healing work we'll ever need and then some on the cross. We just needa believe and walk with Him.
