We received our pair of XP 3.0 Long Range Step Through white bikes on Friday, but I was diagnosed with Covid so can’t enjoy my bike yet. Our 32 yr old daughter and her dad rode up and down our street, a long cup de sac, and enjoyed them. Helmets come tomorrow so they can test them out more. I’m hoping this will give me the range of motion movement for my knees and hips that I need and exercise to help me lose weight. While riding, I can’t eat!

I have a 3.0 long range step thru white. It rides a tad bit lower than the other model. I ride it as often as I can and take it wherever I go and have 150 miles so far. Plenty of power, and the dog hauler can carry 50lbs. Very cool. Negatives is a common? Brakes My Lectric XP Lite and the 3.0 are not setup the same in any PAS mode. So it’s hard hard to ride with a partner with two different model bikes. Consider getting two the same exact models if you get 2.

I’m getting 21 top speed. I don’t worry about that as much for the way I drive and where I drive. I’m guessing everyone has a different need. 21 mph on my 3.0 350 miles total 19+ mph on my lite 500 miles total

I received my 3.0 XP step thru today and the first i noticed is the rims diameter is skinnier than my 2.0 XP? Is that normal?

You know, based on when we got the email that it had shipped, I wanna say 3 days. We were receiving a ton of bikes at the time, so I'm not 100% sure, but it was pretty quick. Definitely 4 at the max.

Our shipment took approximately 2 weeks from date of order. We received an email on each package being shipped. Baskets came first, then bikes, waiting in locks, mirrors and cell phone cases.

Yes, you are correct on the brakes. I have the 2.0 and I changed to hydraulic brakes and the sre quite and fantastic.

I know the Step Thru pedals are lower. Have you had any issues on turns with the pedal scrapping the ground? Have you compared this with the Standard XP 3.0 and were there differences in the ride and handlling?

Hey there! I didn't have any issues scraping the pedals on my unit (though i've had some bikes that had that issue and it's scary as heck!). I also haven't been on a 3.0 non-step-through in a while, so I'm afraid I don't have a good comparison for you. From my memory, I don't remember too much different in the riding experience.

How easy to move it after folded? Can you push it sliding around on the wheels as we did with brompton?

You definitely could do that. It's pretty small and light, so I would probably just pick it up if it were me, but if you wanted to push it around, you could do that as well. Probably not to the level of ease with a Brompton, but you could get it done nonetheless.

I've used both Shimano and Zoom for some personal upgrades. You can snag either one of those on amazon. I always got the pre-bled version so I really just attached them and could get back to riding!

I didnt know about Pre bleed. Now i know what it means thoes will be my future upgrade breaks. What brand hydraulic breaks are the best i heard Zoom is no longer the best breaks.

The mechanical brakes are NOT sufficient on this bike. Your video even shows where the rear rotor doesn’t have full contact of the pads. This is a consistent flaw in the couple that I have looked at. Fortunately, Lectric is stepping up to the plate and offering hydraulic brake upgrades to those that already own the 3.0 with mechanical brakes.

They should be doing a full recall. They aren’t doing their consumers any favors. They took the cheapest route. I shouldn’t have to pay to replace something that never worked right I the first place. The brakes failed completely on me twice within 5 months of getting the bike. I had two very frightening close calls. I’m sure others might not be so lucky unfortunately.

It took 2 1/2 months to ship and when it did come the back tire tube was split on the seam. Their customer service is terrible and their quality control is just as bad!

I hear from several people about back wheel issues on delivery. Almost makes it seem they're being sabotaged in packaging. Just seems weird.

I agreed with the bad quality control. The bike shipped to us in a box marked Made in China . Could not even turn on, called customer service, they did the shoot and thought that I got a bad lcd screen. Waited for about 5 days for lcd to come in, but it did not come with any installation screws. I had to replaced myself, but unfortunately while removing the old one, one of a screw got lost, ask them to send one, they said they do not have in stock, said that I have to go to hardware store to buy one. Not good.

Do not buy from Lectric if you value your money . They take it and Fed Ex loses it . I order 2 bikes. To bad for me they say d . We do not refund lost or stolen by shipping company.

Fedex sucks. I've had several bad experiences with them. But until you receive the bike, Lectric is responsible for any loss in transit.

I think all delivery services should include a step by step tracking system and include a photo like most Amazon drivers take for you & themselves. I think there should be more proof of delivery than just saying 'delivered'. All hands thru packaging & delivering needs to scan off.
