I live on a college campus and have an XP Lite. I love it so much, it's small and compact for my dorm room and is way cooler than all of the scooters I see on campus

I am looking for a foldable e-bike for my sailboat so I can go to the market and stock up on food when in port. My needs as a 67 year old are. 1. Lightweight and compact. (easy to put in and out of a cockpit locker) 2. Simple - less repairs and less problems. 3. Ability to store it in a waterproof bag to protect it from moisture. 4. Ability to attach a Folding Bike Trailer (I like the Burley Travoy bike trailer because it can be used as a shopping cart) 5. Ability ti travel 10 mile (5 mile to the market and 5 miles back) I like this one, only issue I can see is going up hills pulling a loaded bike trailer (60 lbs. of food).

either this or the xp 3.0 should work great, think the 3.0 should take care of the trailer up hills just fine awesome that you sail, im in college and always wanted to try lol, just too expensive-$800/mo fees when i looked!!!

@@archsys307 Thanks for the advice. About sailing once you are out of college and have a place of your own you can get a small trailer sailboat. I sailed all my like except the first 10 years of being married. We were too busy with our growing family to do any kind of hobby. Then one day at a garage sale I saw a 14 foot flying junior with everything including a trailer for $200. It was basically a row boat with a sail. Because I had a house I stored it on the trailer in my back yard and would take it to local. The last trailer sailboat I owned was an Alacrity 19 twin keel sailboat for $500 that I kept in our garage. My wife thought I an getting too old (67) to raise the mast solo and said I should buy a real sailboat. So I bought a Watkins 27 (7,500 lbs) for $4,000. In Ohio it costs me about $3,000 per year for both a summer slip and winter storage. check out my channel where I have video on some of the sailboats I have owned. LOL I tend to buy an old beat up sailboat cheap fix it up, sail it for a few years then sell it . So far I have owned the following sailboats 1. 14 Foot Flying Junior $200 2. 17 Foot Venture (has a small cabin) $900 3. 24 Foot Yankee Seahorse $2,000 4. 20 Foot Kingfisher British Twin Keel $1,600 5. 19 Foot Alacrity British Twin Keel $500 6. 27 Foot Watkins $4,000

@@genglandoh Damn thats much cheaper than I thought, I know motorboats that size can get up to a million even. So your 27 footer has a cabin and everything? I’ve always dreamed of sleeping in a sailboat cabin lol, I get my best rest on the move, and on the water. Although I guess you shouldnt sleep while the sails are up. I’m sure going to do it after college, thanks for all the info. I plan to move to San Francisco after, im sure the sailing is great out there

i’ve been slowly converting my Xp lite into a BMX wheelie bike it’s a solid bike stock how it is already my only complaint is it tops out at 20mph . lol very fun on Trails where big e-bikes get look down on.

the small size and foldable frame also make it easy to steal. wish they had more anti-theft measures available for this bike.

If only they made some sort of locking mechanism for bikes...maybe something which allows you to securely lock up your bike in a public space...if only...

@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide 180 pounds in a hilly area like Missouri. About hilly areas.... while the motor is stressed going up, the motor can also rest while coasting downhill. Level areas, it seems would require a constant surge of energy to keep a moderate speed.

They're fat enough. I tried to put it on the rack of the transit bus and though I got them to fit in the main part( barely, as I had to literally push them in,) the arm that goes over the wheel to hold the bike in place couldn't fit, because the tire was too fat. So I had to fold the bike and take it on the bus, and this bike is a mission to fold and unfold. It also couldn't fit between the forward facing seats so I had to sit on a side facing seat taking up three seats and keep holding the bike so that it doesn't fall over with every movement of the bus. Also had to keep holding the wheels together as they looked like they wanted to unfold. Been thinking of getting thinner tires for that purpose but not sure how to go about doing that or if it would be possible.​@@ESG-ElectricScooterGuide
