I did the same on my 2.0 The original brakes were okay, but the back squeaked no matter how much adjusting and fiddling I did. I bought the XTECH hydraulic brakes off Amazon and what an improvement. Very easy install as well

I got a flat before my Lectric hit 100 miles. Of course, it was the back tire, so I bought a new tube and cut the old tube valve stem out and put it around the new tube. I then used Flat Out and have not had any issues since.

Yeah that was a good idea with the old tire I put duct tape in the rim and put thorn busters in to help and slimed the tires. Been solid since.

60 bucks in Connecticut to remove rear tire off Lectric XP 2.0 and patch tube. I did it myself and used Flat Out and.... knock on wood so far no flats.

That is way to much since I had mine done my wife tire also went flat. I took it off myself this time. I slimed the tube and it has been fine. But I also put a thorn buster in the tire to help with object piercing the other shell. Works so far.

What's the difference in performance between hydraulic and stock brakes?

The mechanical are stronger I think but very noisy. And the hydraulic are easy to adjust. I like the quiet brakes better.
