At video time 1:50-2:03 there’s a rattle . My 24 250x has the same rattle and sounds like piston rattle. I was wondering if the bulletin fixed the issue for you.

I have a 2019 X. Perfectly happy w/ Kinger jetting @ 1200-3000’. Just curious……why the lectron over a smartcarb? They each have their own fan clubs.

Kinger specs are great. I like that you can adjust bottom and top end seperately. Also the xcelerator metering rod is awesome. With the SmartCarb you can only dial the metering rod in or out and it changes the whole throttle range. It has proved useful.

Hitlis hands down. The Lectron isn't any better than a well jetted Keihin. I run the Keihin now.

I know with the mx bike they say go down to a #40 powwer jet..i am wondering do u have any info if this is the case with x model as well? or any thoughts on that issue?

This is an X. Same jetting for both bikes.

I run the STIC set up and am a vendor for them. I have tried all the smart carbs and STIC is the best "aftermarket" carb set up hands down

That 80 dollar carb gonna cost you twice or triple when you break down on the trail or have issues and have to go home waste of fuel and time

It's a 2016, but they are all the same motor wise so it doesn't matter.

@@SingletrackStafford Mine is a 2023 and on this model they started to change a couple of jetting specs, new power jet #55 and new needle NYHW-2, obviously they must have changed the the timing with this jetting changes.

Yes the jetting an needle changed, but the engine is the same othere than a governor shim change. Results should be about the same across years

@@SingletrackStafford If jetted properly, yes, 2016 is no different than current. I really think they have changed the timing on the latest model to match with the bigger PJ and new needle profile because in my experience it lugs better with #55 than #40.

You're probably using the wrong needle. The N3EW or N3EJ would probably be best for you
