Hello Ma'am I am a dedicated follower of your KZbin channel, IIT ROORKEE JULY 2018. Your e-learning sessions on urban planning have been immensely beneficial to me in my professional career. The content is not only informative but also presented in a very effective manner. I am writing to inquire if you have updated e-learning sessions on urban development. Given the dynamic nature of urban planning, I believe there may have been changes in practices and procedures since the previous sessions. Additionally, I would appreciate your guidance on learning some of the best monitoring frameworks for mapping sustainability in urban planning. I am particularly interested in frameworks aligned with ESG, GRI, and other widely used sustainability reporting standards. Thank you for your time and consideration. Response to the question: Hi , Thank you for asking the question. The demographic characteristics means any characteristics related to the population. So specific to the place you have asked it means those countries which only use the number of population (threshold size of the population) as their key definition to identify the urban areas. So these countries do not use any other criteria. For example if you compare with India where we use threshold population(size), plus density and one more demographic characteristics that is male population in non-agriculture based economy. Plus this has to be seen in reference to the study " World Population Study" who are using the terminology to distinguish such countries from the others . Hope this helps you to a certain extent.
