Excellent introduction. Especially the reference to discrete time signal as analog and then the intro on coherer and spark gaps...they really lead up to present day. I also like the emphasis placed on different types of signal processing methods.

22:25 it was bose invention of galana cat whiskers ( Natural simiconductor diode ) for first generation radio and he did published the paper without claming any patent but later markoni patented with demonstration and we think it was markoni who invented wireless and Tesla did also contributed because of his Tesla coils , spark gaps and his wireless Power transmission dream .

I have one objection: Economies are digital and not continuous signals since transactions are instant and not gradual. Therefore we have a 'step' on someone's wealth when they make a transaction. Great introduction nonetheless.

as far as I have studies..according to that... they have never used negative integers in equation. so may be.. by integer he meant positive integer... but the result (graph) can be shift (not sure) so.it can be both positive and negative integer.

The one thing I am confused about is when he says that time is discretized in terms of integers, the integers can be negative or positive. But time can never be negative in practical terms so why would there be negative time in the signal processing ??

The discrete and continuous nature is related to axis of independent variable ... and analog and digital is related to dependent variable ...
