Respected Sir, A).In terms of coppicing why is it that only some trees can coppice and some cannot? B).is there any chemical present in coppicing tree that leads them to do coppice? C).And can a coppicing tree has the ability to do pollarding? Anticipation for you're response sir.

Thank you, Sir, for sharing your experience and knowledge. We can not calculate the basal area for regeneration, right? Because basal area can be calculated from diameter at breast height where the regeneration (seedlings) have not reached yet. Kindly guide me in this regard.

Basal area of seedlings is not calculated, rather we can go for a silvicultural technique called "Regeneration Survey" this procedure will clear your picture for regeneration condition of the forest, which can be evaluated by its standard values outcome from regeneration categories after the standard procedures survey by laying out quadrates under "regeneration survey"
