I'm a freshman in highschool, and I'm currently taking a robotics course. But getting to know how to program, the robot( we use Scorbot ER V's) Wire, learn about proxy sensors, light curtains, and how to take it apart and rebuild it, is fascinating. Our teacher is a MSU grad, and is amazing at what he does. We just got a couple of FANUC bots, from a GM plant, and were fixing em up, and planning on using them next year. Its somthing you actually need to study, and try out to get, but its all fun.

@souasazzz If you feel comfortable with the math involved, I don't see a reason why not. :) But you have to be sure that you do have the required basics. Otherwise you will stumble across obstacles on each and every corner, which might discourage you to keep going. It's a double-blade knife.

how do all this gets translate into a AI program running in the Humanoid? humans wont be the operator so how will jacobian or IK PID controls be implemented control and or actuated? i made a AI program in VS2013 and want to have it control my humanoid platform via serial com to the Arduino MCU which in turn will send commands to motor driver and at the same time use feedback from onboard sensors respectfully in order to successfully Servoing with and thru the environment
