The way you are explaining the subject, any student who is willing to learn can understand the whole. Awesome, keep it up.

Sir can you explain why Horizontal reactions are neglected in case of a beam with vertical loading and supports at the same level???
@uditraizada13353 жыл бұрын
YOUR ANSWER IS IN YOUR QUESTION. WHEN THERE IS NO FORCE APPLIED , HOW CAN THERE BE A REACTION DEVELOPED?

sir its really a great explanation,,, thank you it's really helped me for my exam preparation,, bt can I know how u obtain the formula for downward deflection? is there any alternative for that????
@CHINMAY_ACADEMY6 жыл бұрын
Deflection formula must be known initially from the slope and deflection principle then only we can solve it ... Thanks !!!
@divyasree7206 жыл бұрын
+CHINMAYACADEMY yeah of course bt in our clas we have used another formula for downward deflection
@kjstrings7183 жыл бұрын
@@divyasree720 1st term is the direct deflection under load while 2nd term is (angle*length) i.e radial deflection. Sum that for overall deflection for current question.

In proper cantilever beam if the point load is acting at free end... please tell it sir

Just one question. How did you take the moment at A to be anticlockwise ?
@aadityachhipa36663 жыл бұрын
As you can see that the force on the beam is acting downwards hence that will create clockwise moment at support A. In order to resist that clockwise moment on support A it will need an anticlockwise moment.
@saimanjunath49075 жыл бұрын
For all cases is it is applicable
@daifukumochi36864 жыл бұрын
10:54 where is the moment in point A?
@daifukumochi36864 жыл бұрын
Or maybe bc u use point B to find BMD then the moment in point A isn't used?

in ss bhavikatti...in plastic analysis chapter...the bending moment diagram of propped cantilever is quite different.. how is that sir?
@kjstrings7183 жыл бұрын
That is plastic moment. In plastic analysis we remove the fixed support to solve for moment.
