I have a strong intuition that ancient India had science, maths and technologies which were Eco Friendly , at least not creating e-wastes like today

Just amazing. Indian youtubers must advertise these ideas to make a change in this false world.

Indian Rishi's are the perfect beings . Only they can create such wonderful things. As Einstein's said that most people says intellectual that's makes a great scientist they are wrong it's character . Indian Rishi's were epitome of good character.

“I am convinced that everything has come down to us from the banks of the Ganges, - astronomy, astrology, metempsychosis, etc... It is very important to note that some 2,500 years ago at the least Pythagoras went from Samos to the Ganges to learn geometry...But he would certainly not have undertaken such a strange journey had the reputation of the Brahmins' science not been long established in Europe” - Voltaire, 18th century French philosopher

"In ancient India, there was significant developments in theoretical science, such as in mathematics and astronomy, and in technology such as in metallurgy, but there was very little development of experimental science." Do you agree with the above statement? If you do, what do think are the reasons? If you do not agree with the above statement, tell your reasons with appropriate examples.

Could Aryabhatta’s calculation of 24 Sines be the reason why the Ashoka emblem has a wheel with the 24 spokes?
@prabalsinha9725 жыл бұрын
No, because having 24 sines means that a right angle was divided into 24 equal parts instead of 90 parts as we do today. Whereas a wheel with 24 spokes means the right angle gets divided into 6 parts.

This was just a tad disappointing...Hopefully ancient dhanushbaan's and vimaana's will be discussed in part 2? Let's find out!
@AmritZoad6 жыл бұрын
Dhanushbaan is basically bow and arrow. Almost every civilization used them at one time until there were guns. And we didn't found any proof of vimanas, yet. So most probably it won't be discussed.
