Thanks prof. For saving our assses! Aapko shat shat pranaam! 🙏🏻

@tajiknomi The best method for approaching this problem is to keep cranking up the voltage untill smoke comes out of the transistor. At this point it is then safe to assume that you have gone too far. Hope this helps.

Thank you professor Natarajan for your valuable inputs Would like to comment that Ib=Ic/beta= 5mA/100=.05 mA; therefore Rb= Vb/Ib= 5.7V/.05mA= 114 K-ohm

@hus787 I noticed that to, I think the program just made it in-phase. it's probably a program specific setting to knock the signal out of phase.

Thank you so much from Brazil for such a brilliant lecture Prof. T.S.Natarajan. Ive been using an java applet as an electronic circuit simulator. If someone knows about some "better" software, please let me know.

Since Vce is Zero, there won't be a need to include Re. It will just be Ic = Vcc/Rc

@kishoreiiap I agree - Vcc on the left at 16:27, not Vce.

I just wish that the picture quality was better. I'm having trouble seeing the formulas and the schematic details. Otherwise it's great!
@evensteve28414 жыл бұрын
@goodbyelonglive44 I don't understand how my not being able to see the formulas and schematic details makes you think I'm lazy. I'm squinting and straining to see; so I'm doing extra work! I'll repeat: I think that this whole series of lectures is great; they have helped me very much. Cheers goodbyelonglive44! {;-)

Should LHS of next-to-last equation @ 17:06 be Vcc?
@ClaudioArrau15 жыл бұрын
Vcc = .... is the correct. It is just a typo. At 16:16 there is a schematic which will make things clearer for you. :)

can someone confirm if this is right . I(saturation current)= Vcc/ Re+Rc when Vce is zero. because it says that the q point can be moved by varrying the emitter resistor Re.

Hei, I think there is a wrong text in the minute 16:53. when he spoke about Vce=IcRc+Vce+Re(Is+Ic) .....If you look at this formela you will see at Vce are in the both sides and it doesnt mean any thing.... If I'm wrong I would like that someone can explain it for me and I'll be thankfull.. And not forgeting to say that its an awsome work and nice lecture :-)

Very good video, but there is a little problem. At 6:40, when he reads Vce=0, then Ic=Vce/Rc is not right! If Vce=0, how do we get Ic=0/Rc??!?? The correct statement should be: When Vce=0, then Ic should be Vcc/Rc.

In the example of emitter bias circuit, why we have supposed that the voltage will be divided equally and have halved the value for Ve??
@Axceed111 жыл бұрын
What happens if the Re is not there. (the emitter is connected to ground. Will Vb be the voltage division between R1 and R2, or will it be 0.6-0.7?
@RSuarez668 жыл бұрын
It would be 0.6-->0.7 Volts.
