@Sir, at 20:41, you said that if f4 was early binding, then it would give compile error. It won't give error, right!! f4() is early bounded ==> You mean to say that f4() is not virtual. And if f4() is not virtual, then it would simply call A::f4(). Please respond..

At 20:37 if that was early binding. Still function would be called of class A because, compiler will look at the data type of pointer which is class A.

The reason is that we are passing an argument(i.e 5) at time of calling f4 of class A,which do not accept any argument(clear from prototype), that is the reason why we will get an error.

because in main you are passing 1 argument i.e f4(5) , and since it is EB , the compiler will assign this f4(5) with the defination that exist in the Class A but , notice that , the function defination in class A of F4 has no arugments , so that's when an error occurs ..
