Please explain Interface in C++ as well. I just simply know that if all functions are pure virtual functions in a class then this class is called an interface. But I don't know if the use of abstract class and interface is same and why this is called with a new name interface, not abstract class.

Sir at 10:40 in you created another fun() in student class.....is there any need to write virtual Keyword before it....bcz you wrote ......as you told if we make another same prototype function in child class it becomes virtual automatically.

sir, i have doubt that suppose in a class there are some member functions if we want to add some extra features (add some more functions) we can use the concept of inheritance and suppose if we want to do some modifications in previous functions we use concept of run time polymorphism (Method overriding) in this way we can modify the existing functions but in case of abstractions again we are doing the same thing we are overriding the functions and writing the definition in child class just by the use of pure virtual functions concept I am saying that this thing we have already achieved in run time polymorphism then what is the benefit of abstraction class if we have already achieved this ? kindly clear my concepts...thank you sir

No it pointer of class is not an object of it's class it is just pointer variable that datatype is class so it can hold class object

1- We can't create object of the person class. 2- We want to use the same function for different classes, and the implementation of every child class function will be different like phone number. The phone number of faculty and the phone number of a student can't be the same....
