The prologue..by Chaucer himself The wife of bath .. she had 6 husbands and preparing for 7th. The clerk ..of Oxford.. Miller's tale..vulgar.. Complete characters like novelists...rationality ,logicicality. Sign of approaching Renaissance The book of duchess. Parliament of owls. Troillos and ..cresedes.? (Henry 8 ... married 4 , killed 3 wives for a male child but nothing ..got a daughter.. Elizabeth) 2 more group of poets. Chaucer's successors:(England) John Lydgate: the fall of princess, The temple of glass, London Lacks penny Thomas hoccleve : the regent of princess (Chaucer wanted me to learn but I was dull) Alexander Barclay: the sip of fools.. Henry VIII married SIX times and he DID have a son who ruled very briefly as Edward VI before dying young and being succeeded first by Mary Tudor, Henry's oldest daughter, and then by Elizabeth who was condemned by some as being illegitimate....
